Question For American Travellers:

how do you feel about travelling by air since the events of sept 11?.

have these occurences just made you uneasy, or were they enough to put a stop to flying altogether?.

i told some of my pub buddies that i would ask this question, the news media have indicated that most americans are refusing to travel anywhere by plane at present.. englishman.. nostalgia isn't what it used to be....

Normally we fly home for Christmas (hubby's family). This year, I just want to stay home. It's not a fear really, but more of a lack of confidence in the airline security.

i was given this book by a psychiatrist 30 years ago.

the thought behind the book was that jesus would not have stayed single and they gave the reasons why.

now that i am looking for more insight into religion, i would like to have the book again.

last night's meeting at our congregation was exactly 2 weeks since our public reproof.. my wife was in attendance.

the local needs talk was about...apostasy!.

this of course lets the congregation know exactly what our reproof was for.

fading away quietly

my wife and i are moving 3000 miles away so that we can fade away as jehovah's witnesses.

i am looking for suggestions as to what i should do about our publisher record cards (keep them in pa?, get them forwarded to seattle?

) so that we can start our lives on the west coast with a fresh start and so we'll just be left alone...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and an unlisted number is critical. My parents gave the local hall my number and they called. I changed it that day. Also, you must have a post office box as your address. Don't give out your real address. Just lie and say that mail can't be delivered there.

I have managed to do this for years.

My meeting attendance was very sporadic (like once a month)when I moved 2000 miles away. I never asked for my card to be sent anywhere. No one followed up. When I got to my new home I didn't go to the hall at all. That's how I faded.
