  well friends, it's been nice, but just like the society this board was created for, it has deterioted, far worse than h20 or any of the other boards out there, a certain element here continue to bring down this forum to the lowest of lows, and i no longer have the patience to sift through the garbage and hate incited threads to find something worth while contributing too.

  so, with those words, i bid you all farewell, and pray one day you find yourselves!.

  JWs and Alcohol Abuse/Addition/Escapism

  when i first started studying in 84 at the ripe ol age of 29, i was told oft and repeatedly that jws did everything in moderation, and nothing sinful or unbiblical.

  apparently, like everything else, they have added footnotes to the scriptures that say not to get drunk, as that seems to be their only "legitimate" (read, unregulated) escape from the reality that is the witchtrowel babble and trash sectciety.. there was one elder in my first congregation that reeked of alcohol even first thing in the morning at field service.

  i was told by someone "born in the truth" that he had a "body chemistry problem, whereby when he would sweat it would smell like alcohol, and he did sweat profusely...hence the reddenned face.

  Loves, that is one of the reasons I stopped studying. I have never seen drunkenness on my catholic side of the family or any of their friends. Then they tried to "redefine" drunkenness.

  JW mother loses custody of son for refusing blood

  the lincoln journal star has a story in it this morning about a jw mother in omaha who lost custody of her son for refusing to allow a blood transfusion.

  evidently her son has sickle cell anemia and his red blood cell count became extremely low.

  the young boy was complaining that he could not breathe.. the newspaper does not have this story on the internet but the paper says it is an ap story.. i thought you guys would want to know.. jeff s.

  Dont the jws say that children cannot join? so how can the parents decide? doesnt make sense, as usual they are speaking from both sides of their mouth. they suck

  just wondering if anyone has submitted the jw-bloodreview.org research paper to the society for a response has actually recieved one and if so, what it was.. does anyone know if the society has attempted to refute the information contained?.

  hi everyone, one thing that really made me question how 'just' jehovah really is, is how he could kill all the innocent children at the time of armageddon, and yet resurrect a 70 year old man who died a firm atheist????.

  also, he would have a distinct advantage, u know, being brought back to life, it would convince me, anyway.. any comments?.
