  amsterdam (reuters) - dutch students have developed powdered alcohol which they say can be sold legally to minors.

  the latest innovation in inebriation, called booz2go, is available in 20-gramme packets that cost 1-1.5 euros ($1.35-$2).

  there are 3 current threads that say these very things.

  (ok, the one about armageddon says it will come within days or weeks--not months--so that means june 2007.

  seems to me this is whipping up into a paranoia bigger than the 1980s apostate scare, bigger than they've ever seen before.

  According to the House of Yahweh, the big A will indeed come in June. On the 12th of June, in fact.

  Did they say what time of day it would happen, because Tenchu Z releases for XBOX 360 on the 12th and I'd really like a little time to play it before the power goes out.

  so, just last night i spoke with one of the only people i grew up with in the kingdumb hall that i ever considered a friend.

  it's been about 8 years since we've spoken.

  well, low and behold, she finds me on myspace and we finally chatted last night.

  at the sunday meeting, according to my trusted source, the speaker actually said that 'it is no longer years, nor months - yet weeks and days'.

  it arrived today, i spotted it in an on-line auction a few weeks ago, good price, reputable company with lots of happy customers, too good to resist.. pentium 3 850, 256mb ram, 20gb hd, 2 batteries (charging, yet to see what state they're in) with docking station.

  dvd rom and floppy drive on the docking station, got a wireless card ordered for it.

  for the dollars not a bad system - man i need to get a life!

  what are some of the things that you miss about not being a jw any more ?

  for myself i'd have to say it was the close relationships with the people there, some i don't miss at all, but some i really do miss, like the kids that i grew up with .

I know lots of JWs who earn their living using the internet! And they seem to be active in their religion, too! The JWs have a website! JWs use email, do internet research, maintain computer networks. When you really think about it, though, trying to find out the truth about JWs on the internet would be like trying to learn the truth about what Tom Cruse believes on the internet. There is a lot of garbage out there that just isn't true, no matter who you are. The internet is a wonderful thing, but it would be folly to think that everything you read on it is true.

  Here's another blatant JW lie in response to my statement that the GB has banned JW's from the internet. Does selling crap on e-bay qualify as "earning a living using the internet"?

  And check out his desperate attempt to us Scientology to back himself up.

  Welcome tot he board! I know what you mean about the pressure to get baptized at an early age. Amazing how such a "simple" decision can have such long-lasting effects.
