  Why Jehovah's Witnesses Are Susceptible To Ponzi-Schemes and Rip-Off Artist More than the public!

  this thread is dedicated to my friend blondie when she asked "why the pay day loan shop woman had so much access to jws".

  in 1993 the jehovah's witnesses in ventura, santa barbara, san luis obispo, monterery, stanislaus, san fransisco, alemeda counties were spreading word of the miracle worker of money from san fransisco.

  word traveled throughout the circuit overseers, district overseers telling everyone these brothers in san fransisco were paying 15% for "180 days loans"without any risk, most of these jws were elders and cos and dos, it was only among them the scam remained to create a "in crowd feeling" and left out non elders setting up the sheep for something special down the road!

  Spanking VS. Reasoning

  i am having a discussion at work with the jw's.

  should you spank a child to make them understand or do you reason with them.

  they both agree with spanking.

  My wife daughter, husband and kids (my daughter-in-law). They

  have two boys.They are doing a wonderful job in raising those boys.

  Rarely do they spank the boys, they reason with them. Each boy at

  a early age was like talking to little men, so weird. Don't get me wrong

  they are very respectful to their elders.

  Two weeks a go we were babysitting the boys. While I was still in

  bed I overheard the five year old and the wife discussing what he

  should wear for a day trip. The conversation went something like this,

  "but granny this is my favorite trousers". The wife, you

  will wear these because it's too hot outside,but granny I packed them

  for that reason..Wife, I don't care why you pack them, you will

  wear this. Grandson: Granny we come over to visit you and Papa,

  I didn't ask for this (her attitude). Oh hell, why did he say that.

  Granny: Well I didn't ask for this either, you can take you narrow butt

  back home.. Thirty minutes later he apologized..

  The point, some kids( boys) you can reason with and others you need

  to spank that bottom.

  I received two spankings as a kid. But my four kids, wow

  the boys a different story. My oldest, I think he loved spankings.

  The problem, I spank the kids but the wife it was a beating(kids)..The girls i could

  sit down and reason with them, not so with my sons..

  i have always wondered why alot of jw's that i know are really into alot of sci-fi stuff like star wars, i robot, x-men stuff etc.

  i mean they take it another level with this fantasy stuff.

  Maybe the guy made a mistake, who is willing to serve

  time for setting a KH on fire. There was a guy that walked

  into a assembly when I was working security and thought

  he was at a James Brown show....

  more than one thing for me, but i have learned to enjoy festivals, and just enjoying free time.

  it's not that the org wouldn't allow it, i just felt i shouldn't.

  there are others, of course, and i really have been happier and good things have come my way since i left.

  I have met new friends, same as Flipper I have learn to play the guitar and

  singing, a fair golfer and met the most wonderful lady it's been 20 years

  together.The most enjoyable experience bartendering, met a lot

  of women, before I met my love of my life...

  Aunt Fancy: Yes so true "so many women don't know how to

  walk away". My sister was in her 50's and didn't know how to

  open up a checking account, have never wrote a check.

  That's why see was of the Anointed, life was so miserable here.

  My poor sister , now I understand why she was looking

  forward to living in heaven...

  How many of you who were Elders gave counsel and think about it now.

  I have, 39 yeras old and counseling women old enough to be my mom

  with unbelieving mates, young couples that never should have never

  got married in the first (the honeymoon was over), fellow elders and

  I was having problems in my marriage. A couple I encouraged to marry

  because they had three kids and he was fresh out of jail. I married them

  and it lasted two years, she didn't want to marry him.She became a

  JW while he was serving time...
