The problem, what we concidered rude may not be rude in another
country. The middle finger may be ok in some countries. They use the
word sh--t in Belize like we use the word stink.
Sitting with a soles of feet or shoes facing a person sitting close by, is
impolite in some Muslim countries.
Passing an item to someone with the left hand, may be considered rude
by some Muslims. It is also regarded as impolite gesture. Who knew..
Must we learn everyone cultural when they come here????

If you are a ex- JW and someone refuse to shake your hand that
set off bells. So many here have bent over backwards to appease
their JW family. Maybe we have a reason to have a chip on our

Islam prohibits non-essential touching and physical contact with
a person of the opposite gender, with exception of certain
immediate family members, as a sign of modesty, humility and
chasitity. In addition it is a form of respect towards the other person
by acknowledging "NO ONE" has the right to touch them except
for their nearest and dearest.
Question: What's the protocol when our ambassadors visit Muslim
countries, female and male ambassadors, how do they greet one another???

as we know, it seems that many witnesses "suffer" from "illnesses" at times.. now , before anyone scolds me for being insensitive or unfeeling, i am not mocking those who really suffer from illnesses of any sort.
i am having a go at those that jump on the bandwagon of the popular illness, which actually makes real sufferers feel jaded.. i am referring to the way that many witnesses who are actually damaged as a result of the constant "fear.obsession.guilt" of jw propaganda, often seem to "contract the current illness going around", or blame it on that instead of looking at the real cause.. im sure it is a subconcious result of the burdensome pressure of jw life that brings it on.
instead of seeing the draining effect on their lives as being the result of witness life, they will latch on to the next illness going around.. so, what is the latest going to be?.

It's funny how things come back, life experiences. My older brother
told me years ago, when was the last time I gave mom and dad
