it's been awhile since i've posted, but i have a few questions for anyone that lives in, or knows germany very well.
i am going to be flying into frankfurt (as a layover from somewhere else), and i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what to see, stay, etc.
Go and buy yourself a copy of Rough Guides or Lonely Planet - Germany, in either of these two books, you will find the best ways to travel on a budget and interesting places to visit. You could buy either of these books, a very worthwhile investment indeed, on either Ebay.com or Ebay.co.uk or Amazon of course under second user titles.

i have been lurking for a few days and wanted to ask a question.
i stumbled on this website because i have an aquaintance who is a jw and i wanted to learn more about this religion.. first off, let me say that i am a christian.. my question is this: in reading a lot of posts, i see that many of you have left the religion because you believe the wbts has not been truthful in their interpretation of scriptures and because of their incorrect prophecies.
but it seems many of you still believe that they were correct in their belief that the trinity is totally a wrong teaching.

The trinity issue to be honest I believe is the least of our doctrinal problems, there are so many overlapping issues at stake here, that many more take precedence over this this.

i've always enjoyed the subtle, soothing sound of the wind chime, being in the organization however requires one to forsake such items because of their origin.
it has been linked to the ancients as a means of keeping away evil spirits.. upon leaving the organization, one of the first things i picked up upon was a wind chime.
i enjoy listening to its melodious tune when the wind blows in our back yard.
