Disturbing Information Passed on in Annual Elders Meeting?
by Dune inas you all may know, the elders around america have had (or will have) their annual meetings.
you know, the ones where they are trained and brought up to date about the whole scheme of things.. anyway, an elder who i happen to be close to was telling me yesterday that some troubling/disturbing things has been going down in congregations worldwide.
he also mentioned that it will be mentioned in watchtowers and km's in the next few months.. anyone know what he may be talking about?

They did not come to me like you brother did with you....
Technically, I came to him first but that is here nor there. I am just glad to have him back. Here is what my original comment about death in a divided family was going to be, before getting distracted by the shun in return issue.
What I failed to mention that I was allowed to go to the service for my Dad when he died but my mother and brother (was still dub at the time) flat out told me I was not welcome to go and spread my dad's ashes where he wanted them.
I was by his side day and night during his last few months, helplessly watching him fade away from me. He died in my arms. I cradled his head as he took his last breath but I was not good or worthy enough to be present and help carry out his last wishes. I am so angry about that 3 years later but It's just too deep a wound to even talk to my My mom about. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go cry alot again over the same crap!
We love you Ladylee, many of us feel your pain and offer you our collective strength.

Walking through Wal-Mart/Jehoba told me

But the grandpa and grandma figures of the cong feel the need to rally their grandchildren.
The thing is, I never even met this man until after I was dfd! I got booted for fornication with a worldly man and LO! His little sister ended up being a witness Oddly, they did not shun me. They told me all this business about how they should shun me and whatnot but they were confused because I got booted for things I did with her own brother! After they got to know me, they saw that I was real cool so we got along famously.
They did start shunning me for leaving my boyfriend! What's up with that?!?! Crazy mixed up world indeed!
Side note: This guy brother with a "red-line to the man upstairs" is pushing 70 years old but his wife is only 33!?! He maried his BFF's GRANDAUGHTER! Is that creepy or what? EEEKKK!

Suddenly, from the clothing racks a man jumps in front of me! Oh! Bloody hell! There was nowhere to run. I was trapped by this old man who is not only my X's brother in Law, he is a Jdub too. I really loathe this guy...
So, it begins...."Oh Amy! So goot to chee you!" (his english, not so goot) I no never chee you at the Kingdom Hall!" (as if he ever saw me there in the first place) "Why don't you go? You know Jehoba's time isa comin so fast, I don't want you to die!" "Come back to Jehobah, Amy...You know, everybody loves you Jehobah told me he still loves you"
At this point, I lost my composure and started laughing out loud! This old coot talks to Jehobah! I had to excuse myself and walk away, I felt so embarrased for mocking him but it was beyond my control!
Got any questions for Jehobah? I'll track that brother down so he can get us some answers!

The only way to deal with one who shun's, is to shun them in return. I don’t buy into the whole, "Oh lets love them through it", thing
This is an issue where many of us are torn. I don't think it is necessary to shun in return especially the obvious shun. No one is saying you should show shunners copious amounts of love either but You never know when someone will have a change of heart, no matter how hardcore and Dub-alicious they are!
My oldest brother was an elder and real hardcore shunned me for 7 years! Not even my own mother (and some in the congregation) treated me like that. It was hard and it hurt like hell but I could never bring myself to behave that way towards him.
