the question is - if the perfect angels couldn't handle a life without sex up there in heaven and lusted after earthly women to the point of leaving their proper place, how will the 144,000 handle it. Supposedly they will even remember that part of their earthly life?

I think that some are being mean and vindictive. I know that they are not as bad as they are being made out to be. For example I know for a fact that the wine that is not used at the memorial is not wasted. it is taken home by the elder that is in charge of that responsibility and it is recycled.

The only info I have is that when at bethel in Toronto many moons ago for elder training I worked in the bindery area that did the trimming of the magazines. This created a great deal of clean trimmings which were baled and sent out for recycling.
The sad fact is that every roll of newsprint used is wasting precious resources.

WTS: creative days took aeons - WT Feb 15th, 2011
by undercover inthere's already a couple of threads discussing this particular issue of kool-aid version of the wt, but i just had to start another after reading about the creative days mentioned in this issue.. we debate from time to time if the wts has ever officially retracted their doctrine that the earth and all things created are less than 50,000 years old.
there's been some quotes that show them waffling on the age of the planet itself but still sort of holding to the notion of all creation happening within a defineable 7 day period.
how long is a creative day?

by booby inin the february watchtower a word search to the pdf found only two references to "faithful and discreet slave" and zero yes zero to governing body.. not sayin much effort is required to find lottsa goofy stuff, but just surprised.
they must be reading and diseminating this web site..

Without the rose colored glasses on Brooklyn bethel is a sweat shop too. With the glasses on it seems wonderful how hard these young people are willing to slave/work.
