  we could therefore say that a persons feelings on god and love are simply chemical reactions produced by the brain.

  however what i find interesting is that if a certain part of a persons brain gets damaged their personalities and emotions can radically change.. the rebel..

  The End Is Near...

  so we all know and are seeing that as the org is taking some kind of financial beating it is being interpreted, either by design or not, that armageddon is coming any second now.

  well from our vantage point we can see the only end that may be near is for the publishing company itself, wtbts, and not the world.

  its sickening to hear loved ones and friends say this, that this means the desert god is coming to wipe out most of humanity.

  The end must be near for Watchtower. Realistically, will they suddenly get an ongoing flow of donations? Will they ever get enough money to complete these projects and call up more volunteers to Bethels? Will the lawsuits just vaporize and allow the Watchtower to regain its "clean standing"? Will the demand for Watchtowers increase so as to need more presses? After seeing these"layoffs" will parents encourage the children to make Bethel a career? Or what about circuit work? We all know the answers. From here on out, money will be the GB theme. I think many will get sick of it. Just how far can they cut back before they vanish? We know they would not do what they are doing because it is some "plan". That is not how you get more converts. That is not how you retain membership. The GB are afraid for themselves. They have nothing without the Watchtower. I mean nothing.

  i am still serving as an elder but just hanging in there.

  i think their quandry is that they don't see me out in the field, but when they need encouragement and decent prayer they come to me.. i just got off the phone to this poor sister who i have only met twice.

  she is not even in my congregation (her sister is).

  iwasblind, I hear you loud and clear. This is my opinion. I think when you get to a point like yourself, it is time to to discern who to share TTATT with. It sounds like she is ripe for it. I have shared TTATT with some and asked that it remain between us. If she mentioned not having to earn God's love, she is definitely ready to hear the real and beautiful word of God.

  that was today's topic over a group chat of my cong's young jbots.

  apparently the rumors are circulating everywhere i go, even people from the spanish congs are talking about it.

  what's really sad is that the majority of people are already seeing this as "clear" signs of the end coming.

  The Watchtower has always said the end is near. But they have never stopped building projects and made such a pronouncement. It is hard for us out here to comprehend how anyone can take this seriously. However, the fact that they will stop projects to "focus on the preaching work", will as RobertT18 said, will put many in "cult mode". They will say, "it must be true this time, because they have never done this".But as time passes, and nothing happens. I believe some of them will wake up.

  i would get home from work,eat dinner,shower and put on jeans,a shirt and gym shoes to the book study.

  then,one day a letter was read where men would need to wear a suit and tie and the woman would have to wear dresses.

  it was stated in a letter that the change was due to, '' giving a better witness to anyone who would watch us walking into our local congregation or a neighbor's house.''.

  Are Circuit Overseers next?

  last year saw the elimination of the district overseer...and circuit overseers now must retire at 70. how long until the circuit overseer is no more?

  of course, the role might still exist, they would simply not get paid.

  I could easily see the organization choosing a pool of "qualified" men from each circuit who would be willing to sacrifice an assigned week or even just a weekend to visit a congregation. Even it was done only in certain countries, it would save money. Many elders would jump at this opportunity. If they stop construction, then anything is possible.

  japan - special pioneers under age 50 are being told they will now only be regular pioneers.barcelona spain - the regional translation (catalan) office is being closed.mexico - special pioneers being told they will only be regular pioneers - no age specified on this one.. the scene of the org's world is changing - rapidly!.

  I don't care what anyone says. I was a hardcore lifer. This is absolutely insane what is happening. You can't say this is not different. We can't even keep up with the "apostate chariot"!! It is coming in so fast, that my mind hasn't even been on the Royal Commission!! The Watchtower may not of sunk yet, but it has hit the iceberg. And the GB are playing the violins. Jeremiah, 6:14 : "They have healed also the hurt of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace."

  When I was elder I would always say things that would irritate the hard nosed company men. I did this for years. Maybe the seed for awakening was planted many years ago. I would say things like: "Now the hours you put in field service are really not important. When Armageddon strikes, no angel is going to be digging through the publisher card file and checking who is a low hour publisher." Or, "Jehovah doesn't care if you are an elder, pioneer, ms- those things mean absolutely nothing to him. What matters is that you are a kind person in your heart..." No wonder the elders hated me. But like yourself, the congregation embraced it.

  I Wonder How Many Hater Of The Governing Body Exist At Bethel?

  with all that is becoming public now about the mismanagement of the watchtower corp by the governing body, the list of hater must be growing and this posses a risk i think of the gb's getting injured right there in their at headquarter over all the betrayal and harm they have inflicted to keep things quite(df'n those who know ttatt) to hide their badness and lies.. 1600 lay offs and putting legal in a jam, buying several chemical dumps for real estate and much much more i think spells serious trouble right there at head quarter that might erupt at any moment.. i know if i was a bethelite and had signed my life away to these corporate bastards and all this was starting to open my eyes i would be having serious thoughts about doing a few of those assholes in since my access to them would be in reach..
