I suppose if a member was caught and convicted to the fullest extent of the law the fellow members would see this person as a martyr, suffering for Christ's name sake.

Violations of privacy re: postal mail by JWs
by Dogpatch ini have been sending out orders of books to jws, ex-jws and others for over 25 years.
sometimes plain wrap to keep the family's noses out of it.
over the years i have seen the same constant pattern: whenever the questioning jw lives with or near family members who are currently jws, they want to break open the mail to see what others are ordering!!

sex before marriage in the borg

do you think that a lot of engaged jws have sex before getting married?
i think so, only a few fall into the guilt trip after they're married, and ultimately confess.

I think it is quite frequent...most are guilted into confessing when, a day or 2 b4 the KH wedding, the elders grill the couple as to whether they are 'clean'. I know of one couple who didn't go so far a fornication but engaged in behavior the WT would say disqualified them from having a KH wedding. They simply told the elders they were clean. The guilt followed her years later. I would say it is quite rampant.

How do we know that humans have been around for more than 6000 years?
by inkling inafter a conversation with my dad last night, i realized that it is fairly.
easy for jws to weasel out of issues involving the fossil record because.
a) the wt has very little to say on the subject and b) witnesses are.

the newest paperback version (released in the past yr or so) allegedly does not have the brackets. This has not been scanned and posted on here. If someone can scan Col 1:15-19 from the newest paperback version of the NWT that would be helpful.
