Faith Healing the Un-sick

i asked her what it was and she said 'diabetes'.
i asked which type she had.

Birthday!

Should dubs be hanging out in casinos?
by unbeliever inmom and i went to have a bite to eat at one of her favorite restaurants which is in a casino.
lo and behold as we were leaving in walks 5 of her dub friends who were going to eat at the same place.
she was talking and talking and i got tired of standing there being ignored so i walked away and started playing the slots which was well in their eye site.

I didn't think it was a conscious matter also; I thought a JW couldn't work in an establishment where gambling took place and if that was the case why would it be alright for a JW to patronize a place where a JW couldn't work?

Whacked on the nip ...
by talesin inwell, i introduced the kitten to catnip today ... lol!
she is too cute, except when she lands on my back with all four paws, claws out, to get my attention ... ouch!.
it just makes me wonder .. why is it okay to get our pets stoned, and not ourselves?.

jeannie; you are not alone. Im lurking about, showered and getting ready to go out with a friend clubbing a little. I really am not into it but maybe it will change; He wanted to go out and I said I would earlier this week. I may just have a couple of glasses of wine and then come back to JWD later this evening :)

by wanderlustguy inok, i'm finally starting some dialogue with my brother, i've let him know that i have questions that no one can answer, and he says to send them over so he can either answer them or get answers, and that no question is disallowed or "apostate".
he sent me an article (from 08.15.04 wt, thanks blondie!
) via e-mail, on which i pointed out one simple question on reply to him, which he has replied to.

Is that what they are teaching at this time. I may not remember correctly but isn't the parable about the separating the sheeps and the goats parallel with the parable about the wheat and the weeds growing together until the CST and then the angels are the reapers, yadda yadda yadda? If so wouldn't that show that there was some of God's presence? Does this mean that Jesus came back twice? once in 1914 and then in 1919? and if both parables mean the same thing are they now teaching that we are not living in the time of the harvest now?

What the hell does it matter if ONE or ONE MILLION people were involved? Is he saying that "that only one person" secretly did that without anybody at the headquarters knowing about it? What about a little leaven fermenting the whole lump? I guess it would do me no good to argue the double standards to anybody still in the org, especially to "those taking the lead" since it will only get you sent to the back room of the KH to have you thinking adjusted to their twisted legalistic logic or DF'd.

Is this an actual quote from a speaker to the Gilead students? If I heard this at a meeting now after being away as long as I have I would have to leave before I turn green and start having dry heaves.
