  as of now iam making an unbiased examination of evolution.

  however one thing keeps me hanging on to the belief of a supreme spirit being; the existence of spirits.

  i have heard countless accounts of people who have experienced frightening encounters with evil forces.

  Do You Consider Yourself An "Apostate"?

  i don't.. i consider myself a truth teller.. the watchtower society appears to be more "apostate" than even "christendom"..

  I never considered myself apostate, even though by definition I am precisely that for leaving the witness life and belief.

  It's their word they wield as a weapon against the membership to isolate, intimidate and eradicate ideas and people who dissent.

  I understand the desire to turn it around into something that isn't what they say it is and to have something to identify with.

  This is still using their word, and they can keep it IMO

  So many other labels to identify with ;)

  Do we know for sure what happens after death?

  christian denominations say we go to heaven, witness say we stay alseep until ressurection.

  quran says when we go we grt 72 virgins, unless we blow some people up.. .

  i'm not really concerned with death atm, i'm not dead.

  i was publicly reproved last year and the elders have taken their sweet time in reinstating my "privileges".

  it's been six months and i can't answer at the meetings or participate in the theocratic ministry school.

  in all honesty- i don't care about the privileges.

  I was there, with respect to age, situation, elders, direction, etc. Most here understand completely where you're at. You're not alone.

  Work towards getting out. Find out what suites you and what doesn't. Carve out a future.

  The greatest invention mankind has produced (besides the printing press) is FALSIFIABILITY.

  I've heard it said the internal combustion engine ranks that high but I'm rather skeptical of this claim.

  how are people having "experinces" while there is no evidence of heart or brain activity?.
