  Blondie...you said: Old school elders are being removed around here, about 10 were removed by the CO 2 visits ago. It is the new ones that are toeing the line now learning what happens to those that don't.

  Lots of newly appointed elders still have their heads up their butts that's true...I've know a couple of them that went into the "board room" thinking that they'd be able to make some needed changes....but, alas they got shot down by the "old school" PO that is still living in the early 50's. The same one that told me, "It's ALWAYS the woman that intices the man into commiting adultery."

  Hey Blondie,

  So when I went to the Wacktower Study this morning all the "sisters" were in "giggle mode" during the discussion. "Brothers" would make all kinds of stupid comments like, " My wife always pokes me in the ribs to remind me when to listen to her." Giggle giggle giggle. Or the ever famous, " I would never be able to pick out the right tie to wear if it wasn't for my wife." Giggle. giggle giggle. If you ever want to travel back in time to the 1950's please come to this Kingdom Hall.

  Thanks Blondie...great review. This one hits home.

  After my second marriage in the "truth" failed because I wouldn't throw my son out of the house ( he chose to listen to "unapproved" music). I refused to "throw him out" even under pressure from the elders and CO. Came back to my "home congregation" and was told to go elsewhere they had enough problems with seperations and divorces. It was a "We can't tell you to go...................but..." conversation. This was in 1998.

  this is so funny because this change directly affects how the local elders were screwing me over.

  Thanks everyone. I've know these elders for 20 years all are "old school". Been up and down and all around the block with them. They have always considered me a "maverick". Use to piss them off when I was an MS. I always used those NEVER asked to be up on the platform helping me with a service part. They flipped out when I used the Wizard of OZ characters in a service part.
