  pming other members of this site asking for money is unacceptable and will not be tollerated under any circumstances, especially if it seems like you are targeting someone who seems to be especially kind and maybe a little old.

  that is low.. if you do this, you will be classified as a scammer and your account deleted.

  i don't care what the reasons given are.. if someone offers money then fine although i'd warn anyone against falling for sob-stories they read on the internet.

  Simon said no soliciting for money-- I'm newly retired and any guy toys that are collecting dust and need to be moved out of the garage-- PM me first- please keep the boats under 16ft- the registration is cheaper- - I'll take a pass on your old service car.

  Glander- I see stuff like this in FL all the time-- a lady in the grocery store parking lot (acting distraught) needs to get to the airport and the gas tank is sitting on empty- needs 10 bucks for gas- I told her to use her credit card-- "Idon't have one"- then use your bank debit card--pointing at the bank next door, "I don't have one"-- well lady, the way I see it, they only way you can afford to drive a car then, is to scam gas money from people who work for a living. ---She got in her car and drove away-

  marrying younger spouses

  my wife passed away 2 years ago we had been married over 30 years, i have since remarried and my new wife is younger than 3 of my children from my first marriage.

  i just wondering if there are any more like me out there.

  i stay in excellent shape for my age, work out almost daily eat good and have absolutely no medical problems or at least none i can do anything about, bad knees, but my vitals are excellent, and i am known as the teenage because of them when i have my yearly medical checkup.. so was wondering if there are others out there like me, and what some may think about it, just for the record i am extremely happy once again, and we have a 18 month boy who delights me, have a whole new outlook on fatherhood and child raising.

  I owned a MH park at one time and we had some northern retirees- The man who was about 85 confided that he remarried his much younger wife after his wife died, because he needed someone he knew could take care of him. Within 5 years she came down with a severe debiltating disease that was going to out her in a wheelchair soon- so they sold out and moved to an assisted living-- and he was stuck taking care of his crippled 70 year old wife.- Plans don't always work out-

  My maternal g-grandfather was born in Ireland and settled into farming in Illinois around 1845- his first two wives died- 7 kids total. He remarried at the age of 70 to a widow around 35 with 4 children. During the next 10 years he fathered 4 more children. My grandmother was his last, born when he was 80 years old. He lived to be 103 years old. His much younger wife only outlived him by 8 years. This was after the civil war and there was a major shortage of men for marriage. He died in 1905.

  given that 'we are all imperfect and fall down many times' one would expect them to have made at least some mistakes since rutherford founded the jw religion.

  as christians are supposed to be humble, including those who 'would be great among you', should we not have seen evidence of this over such a long time period?.

  When the "new light' came out in 1980 about organ transplants (no longer cannibalism) I was bothered by the article- I asked the elders why the GB didn't say they were sorry for the previous (wrong) understanding that cost people there lives- don't they have blood guilt? You would have thought I was the enemy! They explained- the resurrection will fix everything! So no harm, no foul for the WT leaders. That is why they never say, we're sorry.

  My father was a farmer- he never played catch sports with me , either- he handed me a pitchfork to clean out the barn, instead.

  I am one of the Anointed

  i realise now that all true christians that believe in christ and get baptized are anointed with holy spirit, making me one of the anointed.

  i also believe the symbolic number of 144k are the first-fruits that will be pick by yehovah but no distinction until then (romans chapter 3).

  so since there's a scripture in 1john i think that says the anointed will not need to be taught by others and will have understanding, i'm thinking of telling the elders 'do to the fact that i'm now anointed i no longer need to go to their meetings.
