although this is not really linked to this day specifically, i made an mp3 cd of music to play when we've got the fire pit going in the back yard.

however, it's quite fitting for listening to today.

Who REALLY controls Jehovah's Witnesses..????

let me begin by saying i was raised in a witness household.. now that i am older i like to question things and see where they really come from.

i always found it strange that so many people would blinding think they the society has any real power or knowledge.. first of all the origins are probably evil.

as russel was a 33rd degree mason, and founed skull and bones an evil satanic cult and jehovah's witnesses?

anyone here know someone born on june 6th?....i know two people and they are both evil motherf$%k*rs!......i'm kinda wondering what they'll do for their b'days tomorrow.....i'm afraid to ask them, lol.

All the numbers in my birthdate are divisible by 6, if that counts for anything (only one actual 6 in it though).

My Story: My Current Religious Experience from Birth to the Present

i don't believe i've said anything about myself here, so here goes.. i was raised a jehovah's witness from birth.

my family's invovlement in this particular religion began with my great grandmother, a rather lovely woman who lived a long life who made homemade oreos which i had the occasion to enjoy once; she died firm in her beliefs.

my grandmother was subsequently raised in this religion, although not all of her brothers and sisters were, as far as i can reckon.

Could you give some examples of what you are referring to above?

A good example is in only showing the quotations of those fathers who interpreted Peter as the rock mentioned in Matt. Other fathers interpreted it as being his confession or Jesus himself (so this isn't a Protestant invention). Another interesting example is Canon 28 of the Council of Chalcedon which puts the Patriarch of Constantinople on the same level of authority and power as the Patriarch of Rome. Catholics will object and say Pope Leo vetoed this. True, but look at his Letter CV and you'll see his reasons: not because another bishopric can't be equal with the bishopric of Rome, but because it violated the canons of the Council of Nicaea (which he said could never be abrogated, and modern Catholics have clearly done that) and because Constantinople did not have an apostolic foundation like Rome, or Alexandria, or Antioch.

I am Catholic and I was never taught that and neither do I believe it.&

Having one though of a sexual nature is a mortal sin provided that the three conditions for having incurred mortal sin are fulfilled. If you die before confession of the one thought, you will go to hell. Pre-Vatican II moral theology (considered defined doctrine; ie., doctrine which one cannot deny) goes into the extensively and precisely.
