  NIN is my favorite band of all time. Just to let all you interested know: the album title is 'With Teeth' and the first single is called 'The Hand That Feeds'. They are filming the video as we speak and some of the people on set have been quoted as saying its his best shit ever.

  We should plan an apostofest at an upcoming NIN show for sometime this year!

  The Young Witness Exodus Continues

  i just found out that , on my wife's side of the family, the last witness kid has given up!.

  he was the very last one in that half of our extended witness family.

  ten years ago, i never would have.

  Very true. When I was living at home I was told by my parents that I had to go to meetings while I was 'under their roof'. I was forced to believe something that I felt was bullshit. I had to make witness friends because I was'nt allowed to have worldly ones. Then when you move out and leave the 'truth' you get shunned. Great way to raise kids.

  Mother in law told off for speaking to her daughter

  my wife and i disassociated 3 months ago and my wifes mother is still a jw....but.....she still sees us regularly.

  today, a 'clipboard' elder went down to see her.

  he has been her book study overseer for a year and has never once gone to see her even though her husband is dying.

  LOL. Unfortunetly this illustration is garbage. 'The mustard' that you speak of is in actuality part of the 'blood'. I don't mean to be rude, but what are you thinking? Where in the Bible does it specify what type of blood fraction is a conscience matter to use and what is a disassociating offence?

  :the few teenagers sit there bored out of their skulls with that vacant, "WTF am I doing here" glaze

  It's even worse when you see those same teenagers become adults and still sitting there with that messed up stare. My last stint before I dissed myself I would just look at my friends sometimes as we were all sitting there at the meetings. It was ghastly. They were just staring ahead at the speaker, all signs of life totally gone. There eyes were like looking into a void. Faces just blank and placid. What a waste of lives.

  Global flood.. holy crap what a joke. I was having wings with a baptist friend of mine and he was talking about how it was possible. He brought up some quote by some anonymous person about how it could happen. When I explained to him how stupid it was he said 'you just have to take it on faith'. Its not even worth talking about with some people.

  watchtower red flags

  when i was studying and in the org i never did put two and two together becuase first off it was peer pressure and a young baptism age.

  i was indoctrinated as a child so i never got a chance to ever use sound reason and judgement toword the validity of the society's claims.

  but anywho i was thinking the other day about certain things that are obvious red flags and far fetched claims that the org makes.
