  How can the Governing Body have love for people they have never met or even thought about as individuals? Unless they conceive of themselves as some sort of divine overlord, dispensing parcels of abstract "love". It just sounds insincere and creepy.

  i'm taking a class, and we are learning about jws.

  my teacher is talking about a "big brown book" that is used for any questions or scriptures quoted by the person who jws are talking to.

  he used it in the context that if they don't know the answer off the top of their head, they look for the verse in this book.. what is the name of this book?.

  This is not a court room Jeffro. When ILoveTTATT2 asked you whether you have proof it's not the JF Rutherford he was asking for your help to determine the facts, not throwing down a legal challenge. This is a discussion forum. Your approach seems misjudged for the situation.

  I'd say there's a lot about Rutherford's life that isn't known. Like the founder of the Mormon's once boasted: "no man knows my history".

  I think it's interesting but not terribly surprising or scandalous.

  I'd be astonished if it was a different J F Rutherford. It's safe to assume it's him.
