If he continues to lose 20 patrons or so a month then heâll be down to pretty low numbers by the end of 2024. He might even need to get another job.

Why is Canada called Canada? Because thereâs nobody there. (German joke)
so when was jesus begotten.
was he truly and wholly fully human.
did he exist in two states, part human part god.
Christadelphians donât believe Jesus had a prehuman life, thatâs correct, but they do believe Jesus is the Word of John 1 because they believe the âWordâ wasnât personal, but a way of talking about Godâs conception of Jesus in his own mind before he brought him into existence. I think. They share this view with other Unitarians of the Socinian variety in groups such as the Church of God of Abrahamic Faith, Sir Anthony Buzzard and others. Sam Tideman is great at explaining these things:
so when was jesus begotten.
was he truly and wholly fully human.
did he exist in two states, part human part god.
nicolaou I know that you know what Christians believe. But if you can pretend the OP doesnât understand how babies form then I can pretend you donât understand Christian beliefs, no? Seems like a rhetorical equivalent to me.
I think supernatural is hard to define because whatever God is could be described as natural or supernatural it just depends on your perspective. It seems to function as a descriptor of âthings we donât understand how they workâ. Once they are explained they become natural. Are there things about reality we donât yet understand, or possibly never can understand? Definitely. So I do believe in âsupernaturalâ in that sense.
Happy new year to you too đ„ł

nicolaou, Christians know how babies are made, but they believe that Jesus was different because Mary became pregnant because of the power of holy spirit rather than the usual way.
To answer the question, the NT teaches that Jesus was a human and is the mediator between the âone Godâ and humans. Jesus was with God in heaven before he came to earth.
1 Tim 2.5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus
John 17.5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began
to all those on this forum, i would love to know what your take on this vital question is..
God chose not to know.
Have you ever been shocked in a dream? As in running away from someone, running around a corner and BAM! theyâre right there. What a shock! Did you know theyâd be round the corner? Obviously not, or you wouldnât have woken up in such a fight. But where did the dream come from? Your own mind surely. So did you know what was round the corner? On some level the mind knew it and didnât know it at the same time. Itâs the only way to explain how your mind both produced the dream and was shocked by the dream at the same time. On some level your mind chose not to know what it knew for the purpose of the dream playing out.
This may be an analogy for the sense in which God chose not to know what humans would do in order to give them room for free action and to be fairly held accountable for their actions. If us mere humans can compartmentalise our knowledge in a dream, canât almighty God choose not to know some aspects of the future if he so desires? Surely he can. The witness of scripture is that God offered humans a genuine choice and not a foreknown one. This is what necessitates that God chose not to know whether humans would obey or rebel.

Good to hear youâre better ForeverAlone, and all youâve overcome to get here. đ
Iâve never taken any illegal drugs, but I have been intrigued by recent news about mushrooms having healing properties and expanding consciousness. The suggestion that government and pharmaceutical companies would want to suppress this as a treatment because they canât make money out of it sounds entirely plausible to me.
In particular I have been persuaded by comments by idealist philosopher Bernardo Kastrup on the topic (look him up) but have so far resisted the temptation. I came across some information that people with colour blindness should avoid psychedelic mushrooms for some reason, so thatâs a reason I would avoid them anyway. Plus it being illegal, although that may change, and probably should in my opinion.
to all those on this students on this forum, i would love to know what your view is?.
I think it is meant to be literal for what itâs worth, although Iâve not got any good arguments for it handy. I think it corresponds to the âLordâs dayâ in Rev 1.10, which many think means just âSundayâ, and I think is not exactly JW teaching either, but seems to make sense to me.
whatâs keeping them?
this has got to be the latest itâs ever been.
maybe itâs the last one theyâll ever publish too, after dropping reporting hours for publishers âŠ.
They announced that the full report would be published in January when they posted the edited highlights on their news page a few weeks ago. The news items get deleted after a month or so, so I donât think itâs there any more.
