I read a good point on this—against the idea that Armageddon would come 6000 years after Eve was created, or after the sixth creative day ended. Because the scripture says no man knows the day or the hour, not the angels of heaven, not even the Son, but only the Father. Yet Jesus and the angels have surely always known when Eve was created and the sixth creative day ended, because they were there at the time. So if it was simply a matter of adding 6000 years to that date, then Jesus and the angels would have known the day and the hour. Therefore Armageddon is not due to occur 6000 years after the creation of Eve, or the end of the sixth creative day.

The video above is perhaps the best one yet, due to the good interviews. Just when you think your opinion can’t get any lower it takes a nosedive.

When did JWs stop reciting the Lord’s Prayer together?

You make a good point, Blondie, some practices were not written down and may be lost to memory as older ones pass on. This could have been a case in point, were it not for the few references.
Thanks bsmart, interesting to hear from someone who can remember saying the Lord’s Prayer as a JW.
What is slightly confusing is that the book Let God Be True, published in 1946, already condemned the practice of repetitious prayers. I guess they didn’t think of the Lord’s Prayer in that category, at that time.
Also perhaps interesting to note that the early Christian document, The Didache, instructs believers to say the Lord’s Prayer three times a day.

It’s about 60/40 KH/Zoom here, and surrounding congregations are similar.
If you count KH and Zoom together it’s higher than pre pandemic, if you only count KH then it’s lower.

It was news to me too, BluesBrother, a most surprising find. Yet there it is in the WT literature.

In some ways it must be nice to have that level of self confidence. Almost everyone he has ever worked with thinks he’s in the wrong, dozens of people, virtually all other JW YouTubers, many of whom were formerly big supporters, plus disinterested non JW reaction videos coming to the same conclusion, an independent investigative journalist comparing him to a cult leader, a qualified psychiatrist concluding he displays narcissism and psychopathy, his wife wants to separate, hundreds of patrons gone, remaining patrons leaking his videos—and he still maintains that everyone else is wrong and that he is the victim. The amount of self regard to be able to pull that off is just staggering. His rationalisations sound so bizarre. For example, he accuses Kim Silvio of leading Andrew Gold astray, as if Gold is somehow haplessly susceptible to Kim’s mystical powers of persuasion. In reality Gold was shocked by Lloyd’s behaviour that he experienced directly and Gold told him exactly that. Yet Lloyd needs to draw that conclusion because he still maintains that an objective observer would side with him, even though nobody does. It’s amazing. I could do with some of that self confidence.

Kim he’s trying to wear you and everyone else down. He thinks that if he just repeats something often enough, and with enough confidence, that eventually people will just accept what he says. He believes this will work because it has worked for him in the past.

Thanks 👍
Looks like the confident bluster that has got him out of every other situation he’s ever landed himself in is instead compounding his problems this time. It must be very lonely, and a chill wind over there in the bunker.

Good point about Telltale!
Telltale uploaded a new video on Watchtower three days ago: 108,000 views
Loyd uploaded a new video on Watchtower four days ago: 3,900 views
Lloyd is a minnow compared with Telltale.
Even Lloyd’s own patrons are leaking his membership videos now - oh the irony.
It’s game over, and he knows it. He’s made a video telling his patrons he won’t be making new videos for a while because he’s fighting an entirely fictitious legal battle against people who have dared to say the truth about things he said and did.
In the video he apologised to his patrons for missing his video with them last month. They pay him hundreds of pounds a month and he can’t even be bothered keep his promise of a special fluff video in their honour.
Basically he is telling his patrons that he can’t be bothered making any more videos, but wants them to keep sending him money anyway. What crazy people are still falling for this? Lloyd knows the game is up. He just wants to squeeze another few payments out of his patrons before the rest desert him.
