  What does the Catholic church think of JW?

  on a trip to rome a few years ago i asked my friend (who is roman and jw) what the catholic faith thinks of jw.

  he simply stated that jw is tolerated by the church but that really not much thought is given to them.

  is there an official stance on jw by the catholics?

  Just a note: There is one place where God, Jesus, and the holy spirit (holy ghost) is mentioned in regard to baptism. Matthew 28:19 does say this in the King James Version (and the RNWT) "Matthew 28:19 in the King James Version reads: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" RNWT: Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,

  as recently as 2025, the wts has compared the "inner rooms" to the congregation as a place of safety.

  do you remember this?

  notice the "weasel words" the wts uses to lay the foundation for "adjustment" or "clarification" of their statements.

  Just a note KH does not equal congregation. KH is a building, congregation is a group of people. So the WTS is correct in this instance saying it means staying close to fellow members, most likely in the congregation they are currently attending. Some jws have expanded that to thinking that being inside a KH is a literal safe place. So if a mud slide is heading toward the KH you attend (or any KH) don't go there thinking the mud slide somehow won't destroy the building (and you if you are in it).

  has any body noticed that the bible reading schedule has been reduced to one chapter per week.

  does any one know if this is a policy change or something temporary?

  at this rate the complete cycle will take 22 years plus..

  Also, now larger margins and larger fonts so smaller study articles not so evident. The worst one I remember was 1/1/71 71 paragraphs p. 8-30???

  "I doubt the GB will end up in prison." Probably not, but huge money to pay out, but that doesn't get the attention of the WTS enough even, they just don't pay up and keep filing up and up until the reach the top, to the US Supreme Court, not yet. The WTS just lets the daily fines pile up.

  Anony Mous, very little new building new KHs, focus on selling properties that were bought for pennies in comparison in the past, and now is prime real estate. Instead sell building/property and have congregations share buildings (in my area up to as many as 4). Or even, consolidate though the congregations sold out from under, have to travel far to an existing KH. The focus today is building large, large projects. Yes, there are a few KHs being built but the big push of the past has slowed down considerably. Haven't used volunteers much except jws skilled in the trades even if they have to come from farther away. The WTS has learned that holy spirit does make an unskilled jw a good carpenter or electrician. Even now the WTS does not rely on volunteers very much, but hires out construction to non-jw businesses, who do have the skills, for big projects.

  In our day, the “interior rooms” of this prophecy could be closely associated with the more than 100,000 congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses around the world. Such congregations play an important role in our lives. They will continue to do so through “the great tribulation.” Rev. 7:14 .God’s people are commanded to go into their “interior rooms” and hide themselves “until the denunciation passes over.” It is vital that we develop and maintain a wholesome attitude toward the congregation and be firmly resolved to stay in close association with it.   Jehovah will give us both angelic protection and lifesaving instructions. How will those instructions be conveyed to us? We will have to wait and see. However, we will likely receive such instructions through our congregations. In a sense, these may be our “inner rooms,” where we will find safety. How can we prepare for what lies ahead? We must draw close to our brothers and sisters, willingly obey theocratic direction, and be convinced that Jehovah is leading our organization.
