  luk3r - It has often been denied that Russell had any link with freemasonry BUT what has not been explained by deniers is his symbology and language used and his belonging to the Zion Hall of the York Rites organization.

  What is suspected by Fritz Springmeier is that Russell was of the Russell Family line as in the 13 bloodlines of the illuminati family lines. Now if that was ever proved it would be balistic and a conspiracy all on its own!

  Either way, to the Freemasons, England is God's Kingdom, and the King of England sits on Jehovah's throne.

  I have a real problem with 'Jehovah' being the God of the Freemason, and all that means with regard to the JWs and their 'Kingdom Hall'.

  Enjoy the book. I have read it all in one go and forced everyone within ear shot to listen to it......and they have been listening since they too were once affected by JW land and want to know why...... Now that is a question all on its own!!

  Is it offensive to invite JW to birthday party?

  the jw is long time best friend of my daughter, and she's having her 18th soon, surprise party.

  i'm assuming it's best to just not invite him.

  i don't want to offend him by inviting him, but i just want to be sure it won't hurt his feelings if i don't invite him.

  Apparantly yes!

  We invited my parents to my daughters birthday and they said they would not come and that we were all Big Donkeys! (Unlike them who are just big asses!)

  Anyway, birthdays are now laughing known as donkey days in our neck of the woods.

  Dubbies don't need a date for the moment as things are looking crazy enough for them to believe they are staring Armagedooom in the face!

  However, should things ever settle down I suspect a constant and extreme escape from dubbie land unless a date is unleashed on them.

  2014, if we are still here, will be an interesting centenary for the WT society!

  'A hundred years and Christ is still sitting on his hands! Why?' would be an interesting WT article!

  Don't be daft. Do you know its history, where it came from and who wrote it?

  Then you know not to worry.

  Why would IRan ever nuke Israel! It would be like nuking themselves they are so close. It won't happen unless someone makes it look like Iran did it when really.........haven't we been down this lane before.....?

  This sort of experience is torture for school children!

  If they really don't want their children to participate it would be better to home school them rather than force this pain on them everyday!

  It is inhumane!

  However, one of the benefits I had of growing up as a JW and going to school is that all the taunts and teasing taught me not to give a flying fart for what anyone else thinks of me......but it took time for that benefit to finally come up trumps in that it gave courage to walk away from the Witlesses.

  Yes well, after not seeing dubs virtually not at all for the last few years they have been round here this week bearing gifts of flowers etc!

  I didn't think they liked me that much all those miserable 35 years I was a dub......so I suspect they think my demise is imminent due to Armageddon being 'just ahead' .....as usual.

  I didn't ask any of them in....took their flowers etc and said good bye!

  Sorry...but life is too short and I am totally unforgiving! It's my worst character flaw and so be it! For an unforgiving person....I have no trouble forgiving myself. But I suspect they feel they might be getting some time in with me! I love to disappoint!

  truthseeker - Thanks for that! It is very worrying that a development as serious as this should be occuring any where in the world. But the 'world' seems to be clamping down on any and everyone.

  Everyone is a 'terrorist' when the only real terrorists are the governments!

  quietlyleaving - For a time after leaving the grips of the WT I wanted to believe that everything was hunky dorey, black and white, totally fantastic and the world a great place.

  The realisation that the world did not make sense and there was more involved in it than met the eye had me reaching for the book, articles, information and knowledge only to discover that the shades of grey between the black and white were more dangerous than previously imagined.

  Yes. I think it is a serious thread.

  But, for you, if you don't want it to be, it doesn't have to be.

  NOt everyone can cope with the fact that we live on quicksand and I appreciate that, but some of us feel uncomfortable and want answers to the nonsense that exists in the world and some of the answers invite ridicule.

  After 35 years as a foolish dub, I can take ridicule and it is water off a duck's back to me.

  Cameo-d - Knowing what 'to do' when the time is right, has been one of my experiences in life.

  We've discussed and began learning survival skills as a matter of education rather than just in the manner of this discussion and so it is something we are all aware of that things dont look too pretty 'out there' at the moment.
