  Excellent article as it proves that if you want to 'knock' someones opinion, view or ideas all you have to do is bring their 'charactar', mental ability or mental health into question.

  That way you get to say, 'well he would think like that, wouldn't he. There must be something wrong with his head!'

  I believe this kind of tactic is used against the '9 - 11' conspiracy theorist, the Global Warming doubters and those who believe there was more to the death of JFK than meets the eye. Even Hitler and Stalin used the 'mental health' card against those who doubted their policies.

  Governments and their lackys do not like to be questioned and so everyone who questions them is bad in one way or another and they can pay any psychologist in the world to say so......with YOUR money!

  Hows that for a conspiracy theory??

  i hope this link works but there has been virtually no sunspot activity since the beginning of this year and the suns magnetic field is down 60%.. if this link does not work, you might like to try googling: sunspot activity 2008 iceage.. the last time this happened we moved into a little ice age which lasted from 1100 to 1800.. global warming lies may well have met their match with reality.. so how will they tax us for the 'ice age?

  do we get our tax back that we paid because of 'global warming'.. is this why they have made fuel so expensive....because they know what is coming and they want to make a killing?.

  Morning!

  sorry not to have been back for a while but internet access is not so easy these days.

  The roots of all religion go back to ancient......really ancient Egypt, possibly even the much 'fabled' and physically disappeared Atlantis of old, and so it is not surprising to find the same belief patterns in the WTBTS. which is just another man made religious control structure in disguise as 'The Truth'.

  But what is the Truth? Certainly nothing you can get from a Watchtower!

  Nice to'see' so many of you still here after so many years!

  Going back to ancient Babylon and the roots of the Trinity, we find that Nimrod, his wife Semiramis and Tammuz were the 'original' Trinity that exists and runs as a theme through Christian denominations. A symbol for Semiramis, that would be good to remember, is the Dove.

  God's 'holy spirit' is represented by a Dove in the New Testament.

  Is it possible therefore that the Jehovah's Witnesses worship a Trinity also?

  We find that the Watchtower's deities or 'supreme rulers' are Jehovah, (Nimrod the father), Jesus Christ (Tammuz the Son) and the much discusses ' God's Wifely Organization, aka the Watchtower Bible and Tracts Society.

  I believe the Watchtower Society believes in a Trinity much the same as the ancient Babylonians, Egyptians, Catholics and Protestants.

  But what do you think of this?

  we all know wt's view of "apostates"and disfellowshiped persons.

  they grap from the old testament quotes that "god's people, isralites" stone to death the evil doers, even the unobedient children.

  the first one to cast the stone was a close relative, parents, brothers, sisters.

  They would make it a social occassion and have a post stoning 'get together' perhaps a barbecue, or picnic so that 'da brodders' could show their joy that they were still witless and that we who they had just killed might, if Jehoober chose us give us another go in da New World........be resurrected!

  a couple of years ago, my husband's sister was disfellowshipped for immorality.

  she moved in with a man and so was df'd.

  her mother and parents continued to speak to her, but still shunned us in the street as we haven't been to meetings for about 8 years now, and also my husband's sister also shunned us whenever she saw us.

  Mindmelda - It is good that his brother still speaks to him.

  I sometimes forget how much research it took me and mine to get 'de brainwashed' from the WT! I find it hard to be sympathetic to people who just WANT to feel bigger and better than us because they are 'going to live forever in paradise on earth and are in da twooth'

  I wish I was more sympathetic but I never will be.....it is sadly my character that i have finally reached the limit of endurance with JW family. At first the pain of being ignored, not for being DF'd or DA'd or even saying any unpalatable truths about da twooth, was horrendous.

  Eight years on, there are no more tears....but they stopped quite quickly. I find it difficult not to be derisory and rude to still in relatives who did, until very recently, unlike my husband's relatives, still speak to us.

  Now, I just want the poison out of our lives permanently.

  So, stories such as your friend's experience are still sad but it makes me wonder why these people cannot realise that to be abused by the WT society is wrong. But they just lap it up.
