Do you plan to donate your organs when you die?
by LyinEyes ini just saw this movie john q. with denzel washington, and it is a great movie.
the subject is about health care or lack of,,, and the need for organ donations.
i have always felt strongly about this and this movie really made me think about doing something instead of just saying it.

Craig lost his younger, bigger, stronger, healthier brother (Steve) to testicular cancer 20 years ago. Steve did a naturopathic approach, and lasted way longer than the doctors expected. He put up a hard fight, and still had a sparkle in his eyes on the last day.
Our hearts go out to you all in this struggle.

I'm sorry but I think that's in poor taste. Nothing can bring back the lives lost or repair the dammage that was done on 9/11/01. Just seeing the Twin Towers brings tears to my eyes.

Forever Bashing JW's??
by ScoobySnax inok.....here's one for you.....maybe this follows on from previous posts about not forever being "ex-jws" as after all, you say you have to move on, and many here claim that they have.....however reading most posts here it becomes obvious that that doesn't seem to be the case.
many seem to be trapped in a "go get 'em" crusade against the jws that seems to go round and round ...... and others just go round.. why?
how long before resolution occurs?

like I said there only seems to be freedom and acceptance of speech here if you follow the "line".
Sometimes people come here with their own agenda, their own pre-set "line", but mostly if you take what's written in these post as the writers views and get out of the pre-set agenda mode you will begin to understand a lot of what is written is NOT meant to change your views of the world as you know it but more to understand what the writer is going through. You even stated you understand that we are all healing at different stages. It's simply that simple.
Some of what is written is going to affect you in different ways during your "healing" period, the good thing here is that it can even be said without judgement, punnishment or for the most part slamming. I have considered that those who do the slamming have had a raw nerve exposed and are on their own mission and healing for them will eventually come. This provides a place for them to get a handle on their own progress. I have learned to understand it, not judge it and for the most part not disc it. Live and let live is my motto. Help when I can offer any advise, support where and what I can, otherwise reflect on what it means to me and how I can understand the writer better. The freedom is in the writing!
If you expect to find a "line" of comformity it's in your own mind, it's not here we are all just doing our best to understand the what's, how's and why's of our former life and some of us are trying to understand how to move on and how to understand this new found freedom of speach, thought and expression.
Keep it simple stupid!
