  i advocate this line of questioning against watchtower's policy.. 1) ask watchtower's lawyers for the number of on-file cases of sexual molestation of a minor within watchtower's records.. (if watchtower's lawyers refuse to give the exact number, then inquire if the number is "too large to count" and make sure that this statement, "a number too large to count" is repeated enough times so as to establish 'a life of its own'.

  it should then be established, using ample watchtower literature, that watchtower keeps accurate records of the entire number of publishers, pioneers, auxiliary pioneers, elders, congregations, kingdom halls, assembly halls and a myriad other things on an ongoing basis throughout the entire organization worldwide and present this as a dichotomy).

  2) ask watchtower lawyers for the number, even 1, of cases where the divine "two witness" rule employed by watchtower actually worked to the satisfaction of law enforcement.. ( i would like to read of the case where brother crap and brother piss sat there and watched as brother vile raped a child, and how this was brought to a satisfactory conclusion.).

  Well, JWs are abusing their children right now Blondie. We are sitting here typing and they are abusing all over the place. How much can we do?

  It is abuse to force them to go door to door in the first place and we are powerless to stop it.

  What happened today has been going on for a long, long time. It's going on still. It's alright talk about it, but we are both "standing by" right now.

  ...in my opinion, people who stand by and watch a parent abuse his/her child or spouse and does not speak up becomes part of the problem.

  I know you to be a good sort. But when we point fingers, others fingers point back. I hope you didn't mean to say I am part of the problem.

  Should I have told Bro B not to force his son to do a door? How long would I last opposing the GB and elders? Should I have grabbed Bro B by the neck and turned his face towards the householder and said "face him" and help the boy?

  What exactly should I have done?

  I put my hand on the back of that poor 8 year old hoping to console him. To think that a man can do this to his own flesh and blood.

  I was reminded of how I was treated as a young boy in the 1960's. My mother was quite hard on my sister and I but I am sure that my folks would not have alllowed us to go with another JW who might have abused us.

  But too many JWs have indeed subjected their children to suffer at the hands of sexual predators. I think it begins, unfortunately, with their view of their kids. If any parent is willing to use their kids as a shield, then they, in my opinion, are on the road that takes them to place where they think so little of their kids that they can place them in the hands of a pedophile.

  Like the parent who doesn't want to go in service, but will offer their kids as a substitute.

  What kind, exactly, are the kinds of JW parents that send their most vulnerable of their family members, their children, out with other members so that they can be abused?

  It seems obvious that the situation has repeated itself over and over again, where children of JWs suffer abuse by other JW members. How did the situation come to exist where those who were sexually molested were alone, repeatedly, with their JW molester?

  All I know, is that I looked down at that young lad, and my heart went out to him. I thought... his father was such a coward. A huge coward. He can get up on the platform and dictate what everyone else should do with their kids.

  There are other families in our congo who have sent their youth out to the group with others while the parents stayed home or whatever. Seems these JW parents always have an excuse.

  I think it starts with cowardice. Then they sent their kids to be the martyrs.

  I had to work with an elder in FS today. There was no way out.

  This elder is from Africa somewhere, right off the boat. How do they view children?

  So, this 'brother' and I took along his 8 year old son. We will call the elder Brother B. Or Bro B for short.

  So, Bro B knocks on the door like a little girl. As I watched him, I thought 'buddy your son can knock much harder than that'.

  He waited about ten seconds and turns to leave. This was his modus operandi. Door after door.

  Finally, after a householder told us to get lost, he put his 8 year old son out front. He forced the kid in front of the door.

  The poor kid was squirming. Now, Bro B knocks for his son and he bangs real hard.

  I thought, so he knows how to knock after all...!

  The guy comes to the door and Bro B looks down and to the right. Bro B doesn't want to face the householder.

  The householder asks what we want, and Bro B stays silent, looking down and to the right. His kid, who is naturally quiet, doesn't even talk to me, never mind strangers. Of course the boy stands there paralyzed.

  Awkward silence.

  Finally, Bro B answers in a lame fashion, not even raising his eyes as he stares down at the porch to his right.

  The householder says "we are too busy" and Bro B turns to run. Leaves his boy standing there.

  This SOB coward used his son like that for the next three doors.

  My heart sank. I thought of the days when my own son was that old, and how protective i was of him. I made sure he never had to face any of that kind of garbage. I kept him out of the way. Protected.

  I stopped service right there. I had no choice. I had an attack and I had to medicate.

  In the car, I had choice words for Bro B as I headed home to get medicated.

  You can guess what I called Bro B.

  If action against JWs takes place, even legitimate action because they broke the law for example, then its persecution. And the beginning of persecution is a sign from God that JWdom is God's blessed people.

  If action against JWs comes to an end, then it's a sign from God that JWdom is God's blessed people, He having brought it to an end.

  And we try to "reason" with them.
