Kimberlee, if I may ask, what kind of litigation are you doing against the WT?

So as i'm leaving the house this morning...
by stillconcerned in...two ladies park at the entrance of my driveway (thereby blocking my egress), get out of their mommi-van, and approach me smiling.. i don't know either of them.. the elder gal asks me if i'd be interested in learning what will happen 'in the end times'.. i am dressed for the courtroom, carrying a bunch of documents related to litigation against the watchtower in california and texas.
when i turn to respond, several of my draft documents slide out of my daytimer and (spat!
) on the driveway.

Ok, from what I see on the charts, baptisms have gone down on basically every major country. I noticed that one of the biggest dumps on baptisms takes place in Puerto Rico, my homeland. It really gives me some hope. I know that, back home, probably 85% of the people I know "fudges" their time reports and many are not really "into the troof", but because of the fear of shunning they are still in there, their souls slowly rotting.
It's also noticeable the spike in publishers aroun 1998 and 1999, right before the millenium. It doesn't surprise me, given that Armageddon was "likely to happen" between milleniums, just like Y2k. And just like Y2K, it's all a bunch of horseshit. 5 years have passed since the new millenium and already the numbers are going steadilly down. So this might keep going and, with the help from the internet, hopefully it will destroy the bOrg as we know it. The only thing that could change this maybe, is that the bOrg makes a major prophecy to get new people in. Although, when that doesn't come true, it will be another nail in the proverbial coffin.

A comprehensive XJW website???
by Junction-Guy init would be really cool if we could have a website that was geared toward the activist xjw.
not necessarily a discussion board type, but one that was a clearing house for all things jw.
especially have links to attorneys, known xjw media personnel, links to senators and other lawmakers.

what purpose would that serve? if you aren't part of the religion, why not just go about your daily life? why do you feel it necessary to go and picket or have politicians in your pocket or other such nonsense? if you're not prepared to picket against Jews, Muslims, Catholics, Hindus, etc., then don't go picketing against anyone else either. live your life as you see fit, and let others do the same with their lives.

Patterson has a pool?!
by lonelysheep ini just read this http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?aid=/20051104/news04/511040390/1027/news11 and was suprised to learn there's an indoor pool up there.
are there tennis courts, too?
although they don't suspect the parasite of spreading to other pools, health department officials said as a precaution, they contacted the county's five other indoor swimming facilities green chimneys in patterson, carmel fitness and racquet club in carmel, jehovah's witnesses' watchtower educational center in patterson, arms acres in carmel and st. basil's academy in garrison to recommend that they superchlorinate their pools.

Hell, if the Puerto Rico Branch has a pool, a basketball court and a badass game room, then Patterson has a pool for sure...

I was discussing this with my wife. Funny how the christians, the ones who are 'all about love', 'love thy enemy' and such, have been shown to be the nastiest, most hateful people in our country. Meanwhile, the 'New Age' folks, are respectful, loving and open to anything spiritual in nature. Fundamentalist Christians are a bunch of jacked-off wackos...

Theocratic Warfare: Is It Still Practiced?
by Nate Merit ini was "in the truth" for about four years and was disfellowshipped thirty-three years ago at the age of nineteen.
when i became involved, at age fifteen, i was taught 'theocratic warfare' which is 'lying for the truth.
' it really didn't bother me until i was several years older and became more introspective.

From this topic: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/101138/1.ashx I gather that thw warfare i still alive and kicking and specially directed to their own members. If you noticed, the jw Media site claims one thing, obviously directed to non-jw's that may be intereste in the troof, so with that they are trying to debunk all the 586bc arguments. But yet, they still print that Jerusalem was destroyed in 607bc. So if you're not a dubbie, well 607 is a tentative number, but once you're in, that number becomes a rock solid doctrine.
