last night, i'm lying in bed, getting all sleepy and comfortablehuge spider in the corner of my room!!!!!!
eeeeeeekkkk!!!
i rush from my bed and grab the vacuum cleaner and flip the switch...........and voila he's sucked up safely and hopefully very dead inside............feeling much safer and again serene, i climb back in bed and pass an uneventful, peaceful night.
Missy04,that reminds me of something my hubby told me that happened to him a long time back. My hubby works in Law Enforcement and had to go to a persons house and ask them some questions, he sat on their couch and before he knew it a hugh roach climbed his arm and into his ear. He went nuts and he said he could hear it moving around in his ear. He said it hurt very much and he had to go to the hospital and have it removed. He said it was the most embarassing thing to happen to him. I bet it really drove you crazy.
A HUGE ROACH in his ear???? I would have fainted. The spider was bad enough but a roach LOL EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
How did they remove it?

I used to love fast food and I still do to a certain point, ESPECIALLY Taco Bell, but I have a harder time enjoying it than I used to, especially after having worked in a few restaurants where you see how they make the food and how they store it, ect.
There was this one gas station that had a little food section behind a counter and my friends and I ordered these little personal size pizza's. I saw the guy behind the counter using cleaning chemicals on the counter without gloves on and then handle my food without washing his hands. He also did not have a hair net on. I went up and commented on it saying that it violated health codes. He was arrogant and stupid about it and there was no one else working at the food section there bc it was late so I couldn't complain then. He ignored me and when I got my pizza I took a bite of it and got a mouthful of pizza and some sort of chemical. Later when I was feeling a little ill, called a number I found in the phone book and reported this guy. I don't like to get food from gas stations anymore.

I don't really care for spiders, either Sunnygal..
I can TOTALLY understand how ya don't want them spiders crawling around your house, especially when you're trying to sleep.
I hate to kill anything but spiders I do sometimes make an exception for.
About two or three years ago I was asleep and woke up because a spider was crawling INTO my ear. It felt like a fairly good sized one and it had managed to get in there. I RAN yelling "there is a spider in my ear!!!!" I was FREAKING out for a while because I could hear this thing crawling around in there. I put alcohol soaked cotton balls in there and it killed it eventually. The next day, I don't know if this was it or not, but I swallowed something about the size of a spider.
still makes me cringe

have any of you guys ever talked in your sleep during a meeting?
No, I don't think I've talked in my sleep but I have fallen asleep alot....I always had that head-bobbing thing happen where your head starts to fall to the side and you jerk back awake and over and over until the song when you get to stand up and wake yourself up. It was embarassing, but at least we were usually in the back row. Hey, maybe THAT'S why the PO didn't like me?!!

pictures would be nice, too.
As far as women go, I always have been jelous of Angelina Jolie. If I could look like someone I would pick her.

i am posting this because i know there are many people that have had experiences that cannot be explained by natural means.
i am a ghost hunter, as a hobby.
my hobby is to disprove ghosts.
I can't say that I believe in ghosts, but I believe that evil spirits (demons) can screw around with people and scare them.
I do have some experiences that I cannot explain...When I was about six or seven my dad was at work and I was home sick from school with my mom. We were in between the dining room and the living room and heard "BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM" in the upstairs of the house, it went from one side of the house to the other. It was footsteps for sure. Nobody was up there though. I think she called my uncle and he came to check it out.
Second experience....around the same age, not exactly sure when, I walked into the basement to get a toy I think. It was fairly dark but when I walked by the furnace, there was a person standing on the other side. Their skin was a pale gray. Windows were locked down there so when I ran upstairs and they checked it out for me they didn't believe me.
third...(this was about two or three years ago, and may have been a burglar checking out the house for all I know) my parents were in Chicago for a doc appointment for my mom and I was asleep on the couch in the living room...kitchen is right by the living room..I woke up to a sound, and stayed still listening. I haerd chairs moving around the kitchen and cabinets opening. I was so afraid that if it was a burglar and they knew I knew they were there that they would hurt me that I managed to keep my eyes closed and pretend to be asleep for quite a while but it stopped all of a sudden and I never heard anyone leave...although I stayed stark still for quite a while frozen with fear!!!!
fourth...I was once in the hayloft of my barn with a few friends and we were pretty sure we heard someone in the downstairs part (we were sure it wasnt my parents for some reason) we were so scared we jumped out of the second story!!! LMAO!!
fifth...and a very traumatizing one....I fell asleep on the couch in the living room and woke up late at night. Whatever woke me up I have no clue. I layed there for a while, and my head was on the arm rest of the couch, with my hair dangling over the edge. I felt something touch my hair, and was frozen with fear and didn't move an inch. Then I felt something start twirling my hair. Then it had such a firm grip on it that I couldn't move my head. After a few moments and I caught my breathe and was able to scream my friggin head off, it let go. My parents came running out of their bedroom and said it was a dream. I know it wasn't though. When I woke up I had been awake for a while, and saw all my surroundings very clearly, where my dog was laying, how I was positioned on the couch, ect.

Well after he died , and as real as life itself I saw him standing by the barn when I pulled up to the house. Not believing in ghosts this took me back a second and then I realised... I EXPECTED to see him there
You're right,..that can totally happen. Your mind is so used to seeing or hearing something so it just continues to see or hear it. We have a clock on the wall that "ticks ticks ticks" only it's not been wound up for a few years Sometimes I hear the clock and when I remember that it doesn't still "tick" then I stop hearing it for a while.

.
the buzz is that this is the scariest movie to come out in a long time.... http://www.whitenoisemovie.com.
i'll go see it tomorrow night, then write a sizzling review.
I loved "The Ring." Seen it three times.
I saw it in the theater with my friend Jayme. At the end, there was a malfunction in the projector and put a big white ring on the screen We did not like that very much.
