  why is it that we never had coffee/tea after the meeting??

  yet, nearly every kh has a kitchen??.

  We go to a church that has coffee when the kids go to their own church and also at the end. it's a new church so new ones can be made welcome

  so this time of year we get all of the feedback about how the majority of jws (and we) didn't partake.. if you self identify as a christian what do you believe about the bread and wine.

  are you catholic and believe in transubstantiation, or greek orthodox and believe in the mystery of the real eucharist, or protestant and believe only in the symbolism of the bread and wine.. do you serve grape juice and soda crackers (chruch of christ i attended), real wine, real matzah, wafer, other.. do you take communion daily, weekly, monthly, annually.. how important is communion to you..

  Ellen white the SDA prophet had a addiction to vinegar which in the 19 century was made with a large portion of whisky. The symtoms she describes are withdrawl symtons of Alcoholism. She describes feeling as if she would die during the weeks of withdrawl. The Whites always had alcohol in their home.

  My family attend a low anglican church we have communion once a month and have grapejuice in individual cups. We have ordinary bread and best of all there is great coffee. In fact I will be down at the church in half an hour from now its my job to prepare the coffee today.

  professor kevin barrett is not exactly the most trusted commentator you could find, but that, of course, just maybe because, there are people who want his views on 9/11 to be ignored.. anyway he's advanced a theory that the missing malaysian airlines plane was remotely hi-jacked.

  in the absence of other evidence, it just maybe what happened.

  to consider whether it did happen, we need to ask why it may have been hijacked?

  I have a radio control system for aircraft and I have been trying to over ride the control systems of aircraft flying overhead all morning and it doesn't work. I decided to try when I first read this thread. The aircraft are too far away my 2.4 gig radio only has a 4km range.

  Why don't Born Again Christians include themselves as "Cults"?

  when i see or hear born again christians calling mormons, jws, 7th day adventists, jews etc; cults i always have wondered is that not the pot calling the kettle black?

  i just amazes me how so much in denial bacs(born again christians) are.

  they love to condemn and throw stones at others but they will never, never, and i mean never label themselves as cults even though they have some of the weirdest beliefs.

  I don't really know any born again christians in fact all christians are born again when they first believe. What denomination are these born agains?

  Even in Aminianisn there is the belief in 'perserverance of the saints ' where a christian may be out of fellowship with Christ through sin but is still saved. In the Arminian tradition a christian can only be lost by the rejection of the saviour.

  Calvinism on the other hand is the belief in TULIP. which includes Unconditional Election the belief we are selected by God through no reason of our own. This belief also stated there is limited atonement only for the saints and also stated the perserverance of the saints which is once saved always saved.

  Once saved allways saved is very common in the christian church

  What Is The World View Of America?

  a lot of people felt that the usa's reputation was terrible, especially under president bush.

  then obama became president and we heard how the rest of the world felt that finally they had a person that would respect them and their views and work with them!

  the new president even ot a nobel peace prize because of the world's perception.. what's your view of america?

  I have respect for America and our political partys do to on bot sides. Australia has a similar history to the states in many ways although we stayed with the Empire.

  the foreign policy of the states and here is also very much the same.

  The Americans could learn from our Medibank system where everone is covered . Barry

  australia has reverted back to the medieval system outgoing governor general has accepted a damehood and the incomming governor peter cosgrove will be receiving a knighthood.

  i have met a few knights one of them mentioned to me he was dissapointed he didn't get a horse from the government.

  the queen wil have to get busy with her sword dupping the new knights and dames.
