  my 83 year old grandmother is very sick.

  she has not eaten anything in two days, we tried chicken noodle soup tonight and she just drank the broth.

  anybody have any kind of suggestions i will listen.

  We have to be very carefull of what we can give her. She does not like the Ensure shakes or Boost. She has Crohn's disease, and few others. Pretty much she eats a very bland diet anyway. I know if she doesn't eat something she will wind back in the hospital, and I really don't want that.

  Thanks Mouthy, Just because we are no longer together it doesn't mean I don't care. In all reallity I do care about this cause. There is children out there who are still getting brianwashed thinking that this is the only religion out there. If you want to call this a religion, How could anybody protect a child molester and not the child call this a religion. I have neices who I would kill for if anything like this would happened to them.

  I turned 30 today! AAHHH!

  it will be only the second birthday i've ever celebrated.

  as expected i didn't get a call or email from my mother, but i am having friends and family over tonight to do some karaoke and have some drinks.

  i'm looking forward to the next decade, my twenties were difficult leaving the cult, very few highlights other than meeting my wife and reconnecting with my non dub family.

  How many have/will/plan to attend a WNFJ convention in Penn?

  i know a few here have and do so - i have listened to tons of the audio testimonials and have even had one poster here offer me a place to stay should i decide to go in october.

  i just might go this time.. wnfj= witnesses now for jesus [ mostly former jw's and mormons] .

  To be honest, I went with david in 2005 while we were half way together. I had more fun going to the conference than I had except for the Dallas crowd. you learn so much from others that you don't know what to think. And for me who was never a JW, it was a time to sit back and think of how parents and people you trusted could be so cruel. And to think I thought parents were cruel moving me allover the earth due the millitary. I think everyone has different ways of dealling with things that have happened to them in their life and WNFJ is a great way to look at different religions and different ideas that you may not know that is out there. Dave and I would have been there last year if we hadn't seperated. But we did and we know that is was for the best. But I would encourage anybody to attend at least one WNFJ conference you might be suprised what you would find. Who knows you might be standing next to Dave picketing Bethel, like we had planned the year we went. but instead we made some noise at Patterson.

  Mom is having a rough time right now

  well 3 years ago when my stepgrandma died, mom left her abusive husband to live with and take care of grandpa.

  she cooks, she cleans, she helps him dress.

  he is so mean to her it makes my blood boil.

  David, I am so sorry about Mom. Grandpa will be Grandpa. I have never met anybody as giving as your mother. she is the best. but she needs to slow it down for her health. Give my best wishes!

  They just keep following me!

  about three weeks ago.

  i was helping a lady at work.

  so i wasn't thinking about jw's or anything, when she leaves, she leaves me a tract, i get them all the time in my line of work so i wasn't paying attention.

  She basically threw it at me. She said" Here I usually leave these with people who I have met." And the thing of it after being around it for almost 13 years, I usually have my radar on, I guess not that day. There is another family that comes in I don't know how to take them. They usaully come in on thursday in dress clothing, the son is in a long black trench coat with jacket and tie. The daughter is in a dress along with the mother. I think it is the same family that was giving my Grandmother a hard time here at the house. but I am not sure.
