a full billboard ad in my area along a busy heavily travelled highway would cost about $500.

would probably get lots of attention and maybe even a news article, who knows.

$500 is cheap and easily affordable.

Watchtower 1954 claims Jesus had nice short hair and NO BEARD....remember the pictures?

flicking thru some old watchtowers i was suprised to see pictures of jesus clean shaven with short hair!!

wachtower 1954 p.511 "why do watchtower books now show jesus with short hair and no beard?

...because he was shown that way in representations of him that are older then traditional effeminate looking pictures..." {having a beard is not so effeminate may refer to long hair}.

i noticed that they was not a lot available, so have put together something.

what is the wt's stance on dubs visiting historic churches?

i drives me crazy when jw's go on tours of historic churches, the vatican, or mosques .

they go in the church take pics, and oooo and ahhhhh over the buildings.. why the f_ _ _k are they expressing awe and wonder at what they believe to be satan's world headquarters .. don't they know jehovah is soon about to destroy all these architectural wonders.. jw relative has just come back from visiting the vatican.. stupid cult aaahhh !!.

Yes, they charge to see the Sistine Chapel. I went there, so yes, I paid a fee to the Catholic Church to see it. Did it rattle my conscience? No, because in my mind, I was there to see the art.

As for the money, these places require maintenance so I see my money as contributing towards its conservation.

How is this not supporting the church?

I agree with you guys the WT will not punish someone for visiting churches.

However they do play their little head games to strongly discourage.

Where do you want to be, in the Sistine Chapel or a kingdom hall when armageddon strikes?

Anyone remember all those pics from the litterature where lightning bolts and earthquakes are destroying various churches?

I think I remember one picture of the vatican buildings being destroyed.

What a shame that Jehovah will destroy all these treasures.

it never ends..there is always something stupid happening within the wbt$... these are bethel one liners..bethelites have posted on jwd/jwn... that i have collected over time... .
