Went to Vegas this year also.
First time for me and wife, stayed at the Mandalay bay.
Loved it.
Fire Valley is a neat thing do out there.
1st trip i was numb and just chilled.. 2nd trip was very, very difficult with many emotional outbursts and at one point, convulsions.. 3rd trip was very cool except for a brief emotional discharge that ended quickly.
i soon made up for it by taking wifey to a very expensive restaurant.
i felt at home this most recent time and i'm making plans for the next trip.

luke 9:27 says:.
"...but i tell you truthfully, there are some of those standing here that will not taste death at all until first they see the kingdom of god.".
how does the watchtower explain this?.
I think they see Moses as the Messiah figure and Elijah as the John the Baptist figure
John the baptist isn't part of God's kingdom either. Why would he be represented as being part of God's kingdom?

designs,
Even if this is only a vision Moses and Elijah (and not Christ???) ,why are they, Moses and Elijah, represented as being part of God's kingdom?

Of interest to me is how does the Watchtower dance around the fact that Jesus is talking to moses and Elijah?
Also why are Moses and Elijah seen as being part of God's kingdom?

i also read a thread questioning the watchtowers motives.

They think they need to protect the organization above the individuals for their own righteous reasons.

No Nativity
There will be no Nativity Scene in Washington DC this year!
The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in the United States' Capital this Christmas season. This isn't for any religious reason. They simply have not been able to find three Wise Men in the Nation's Capitol, also a search for a virgin continues. On a side note, there was no problem finding enough asses to fill the stable.
this is just an obsevation from me...ok i dont mean to annoy anyone but is it true or just me?.
i feel that ones raised in the truth are so much better of than us who came in from the world.
i say that because they have family who are witnesses too.
No, you are not correct, however you are highly irritating.
