  Around what age do most Witnesses leave the organization?

  my congregation had 85 members ten years ago.

  today,there are only 46. the ones that left the organization were mostly between 18-25 years old.

  i haven't seen many middle-aged or elderly leave.

  Thinking about these old testament stories in dub terms, and applying them to modern day people:

  David would be comparable to ted Jaracz.

  Joe publisher would be the guy on the front line in battle.

  Ted would have Jehovahs protection, Joe would be dead.

  Did Your District Conventions Have A Meat Market?

  i was recently thinking back upon some of my unusual memories of being in the organization.

  one of them was of the dodger stadium "meat market".. we used to attend our district conventions at dodger stadium in los angeles.

  for those of you who arent familiar with the stadium, dodger stadium has a very large level with blue seats - which is the largest level within the stadium.

  Hey not feelin it,

  I'm a vet statium veteran. Sun dresses thin material, hey it's because it's so hot!

  My son new the place as the big bell.

  When convention time would roll around we would tell him

  we're going to the big bell, he would just sigh.

  God I hated that place !

  I think it's just an overpriced nutritional powder.

  My mom asked me to buy some, I told her I'm doing alright without it, no thanks.

  It is 100.00 for a month supply !

  How does my special pioneer brother afford that ???

  He must be using his special pioneeer powers to influence the R.F. to buy it.

  Anyone have personal use or knowledge of this product?

  Just remembered: Oct. 26, 1963, I was baptized. I was 11!!

  wow.

  it was 45 years ago yesterday that i was baptized a jw.

  back when you weren't baptized to an organization.. i was 11. went to a circuit assembly in massachusetts with another jw family (circuit ma #3 at the time), and honest to god, we stayed at the pioneer motel!.

  For instance, a sister who served Jehovah actively for some 50 years and who had been a regular pioneer developed a debilitating illness and could attend meetings only with great difficulty. When she compared her former ministry with her present limitations, she began to cry. Lowering her head, she said through her tears, "I'm not doing anything anymore."

  This makes me sick.

  The wt is the reason she feels this way,

  because of their constant guilt triping people into thinking they aren't doing enough.
