  Things I learned at the 2009 DC !!!

  unfortunately i had the "flu" friday and saturday.

  but i made it to the sunday session to make an apperance.. on sunday, i learned that we are,... ready, this is a new one for me :"...on the doorstep of the great tribulation..." so close brothers!

  we got more bad news regarding my brother in law.

  for those of you who don't know, he has myelodysplastic syndrome.

  Update on Aubrey. Surgery complete

  well she made it through with flying colors.

  10 hours in surgery.

  she may have to go back and have further surgery down the road on her nose.. but all in all it was a success.

  i mostly try to keep the peace here in my house and dont point out the jw bs as much as i used to.

  but i have a hard time dealing with stupid, lies, or people that harm or put children at risk.

  i found something that encompasses all three elements on my kitchen table.. .

  Prayers for Aubrey requested

  i am sitting in the family lounge at the university of va medical center.

  my grandson has paused his walk after 2 days because his 10 year old sister, aubrey, has had a terrible accident.

  she fell off of a bike, slamming into a tree going downhill.

  Dear Coffee, I just found this thread. I am not on the forum as much lately, so I end up missing things like this.

  I am so sorry to hear about your granddaughter. She is so beautiful. Wait until my wife sees her photo. She will fall instantly in love with her.

  And, she will pray for her every day, until she is home and fully healed. I will pray also, but she has the better "connection", as you remember.

  Of course, you know if this happened close enough, we'd be there by your side.

  Hoping and praying she has a full recovery. What a brave little granddaughter you have there.

  We also hope your grandson will be able to resume his duties soon, so he will be able to finish before the bad weather and /or school interfere.
