Bethany, thank you for the nice words and manner expressed, you may be 100% correct that this young one should not have been engaged in conversation, I sort of read it that a wall was up and no matter what was said or how kind it was said, still drew a strongly sarcastic response...and someone was really worrying about mum.

I was waiting for someone to encourage this young man/woman to avoid arrogance and smart-alec remarks to anyone, not just those older, and especially a mother, and to suggest that bitterness and resentment are hardly qualities a mature person would display. Alas, no such support for the principle of being 'obedient to parents' (in or out of the 'truth') . I can't help but wonder what this young person would do if their mum died today? Is it not possible to have someone support being decent as a human and not so awful as if that is a goal? How spiteful and horrible can everyone be? gdt an oldie.(and elder ages ago ) gdt.

Secondly, why don't all those making judgments listen long enough to get the full story instead of just blasting away? Example.....the Google list of articles on this subject made mention that :
'theyoung girl was given 38 transfusions and 4 chemo sessions, and died 2 months later.
She was made a 'ward of the state', the province taking custody.
She had a psychiatrist and 5 pediatricians give her their acknowledgement tbat she was mentally capable.
The Cross Cancer Institute is also being sued and their doctors.
Yet, you all make out as if you are 'judge and jury'. Why not take note of what many of the articles said, namely: 'the allegations are yet to be proven in court.'. Is truth of no value here?

It is impossible to read your comments without feeling the bitterness and hate you must have, every one of those verses is true (even using NWT)...just because you now disagree with the applications and the settings, does not justify surely such untrue statements you feel have to be made against the society..

one of my witness friends in england told a friend of hers out in service about how i'm not going to meetings anymore, what a shame, etc., etc., so this well-meaning little person decided she wanted to write me a letter.
i asked why, and she told me the story of this young man.

Nina, may I add just a thought of the deep respect you have received from the group here, I too feel very much for you, and respect you for not being bitter and twisted, just realistic, and keeping your faith and love of God intact. Hardly any of us go through life unscathed, but it is proper to expect more from those who profess more! Please will you all search the web for medical conclusions on 'repressed memories'...not the memory carried through life but a 'popped up' memory helped by some modern-day medicos..........and don't condemn the society. condemn the mind specialists who have concluded that nothing can be guaranteed from statements of 'repressed memory'. what else can the society conclude? that they know better? hardly. It is hard not to be annoyed at such arrogant condemnatory conclusions and misleading settings used by those posting on this subject. If you can't find the reports from the top psychiatrists etc, pm me please. gdt

Can only say most observations come over very sound, and true. the only perception could be that the 'vengeance is mine, I will repay' statement is from God, not any of us, so an element of care needs to be included in our reactions one would think. thanks you for sharing thoughts. personally I have always loudly objected to whomsoever is in authority if I feel injustice is done, and several of your posts highlighted for example the need to identify wrongdoers, to the correct authorities who can accept responsibility for action. Interesting life eh?
