  as we entered a door of the administration building we did not head to the elevator to take us up the eight floors to the main administration floor.

  i looked around the room and asked, "what's up with her?

  i was going to work with the elder from hell who ran the photography department.

  Sad again at the Service Meeting

  the service meeting on thursday was really saddening, particularly the last part, about preaching with boldness.

  it was about overcoming nervousness, shyness, etc in the ministry.. all these people gave their experiences about difficulties they had in the ministry.

  a regular pioneer (and elder's wife) admitted that she used to just pretend to ring the door bells; service is still really difficult for her, but she does it just because she feels obligated to.

  Whoa. These people are being abused, and they don't even know it. I hope they come to the same realisation that we did..if not, they will be forever chained within that horrible cult which burdens them with their terrors.

  Football predictions for "egg chasers" (NFL)

  well, the upcoming nfl season is about to start in two days, with my team the new york jets being involved in the opening game.

  now i was a little discouraged when our starting qb chad pennington (the best in the nfl) went down earlier in the preseason with an injury that will keep him out for more than half the season, but fortunately for the jets, they're one of the few nfl teams with a backup qb that can be a quality starter, so i don't expect that we will have much of a drop off with vinny testaverde taking the reigns temporarily.

  he'll surpass 40,000 career passing yards this year, and he also has a stronger arm than does pennington, so look for deep plays to the wide receivers.

  The only thing I have to say is, that if my fly boys, (Eagles) don't show up yet AGAIN this year, that this may be the last year in a long time that they will be in contention. It's do or die.

  many of you have known me through the board for quite some time now and you know that i have had quite a battle with depression, anxiety and even suicidal thoughts.

  i am on a medication now that has really helped me.

  if any of you suffer daily from worry, depression and anxiety i really urge you to seek help.

  Thanks, Joel, I'm bookmarking this thread. I've has the number for a good therapist near my phone for a month...just got to get the courage up to call. Maybe I'll do it for my birthday, which is coming in 51 minutes.......

  Best present I could possibly get tomorrow, if I just rustle up the courage.
