  Here in Jersey, we are getting some 45-50 MPH winds, big gust, but strangely enough, no rain or thunder....just high wind.

  The wifey and I are going to go to the shore tomorrow, so we can see the monster waves.

  Horror Movie Genre Making a Comeback??

  think that horror movies is making a huge comeback??

  there hasn't been much of horror movies in the 1990s since the popular horror movie franchise was around in the 30s on up until the 1980s, then it has pretty much dropped out of sight throughout the 1990s.

  since jason vs. freddy, seems that young and old alike wants more, so here's another one out due soon... .

  I started by watching Original Halloween, Friday 13, Nightmare, TCM, all great flicks.

  The Ring (or Ringu) kind of helped horror to become respectable again.

  I'm looking forward to a few new horror flicks in the future.

  Don't worry about it, bro. It's nice to know that people can sympathize with us, even if they aren't JWs. Kind of makes us think that all this fighting JWs, the discussion about them, and our healing process wasn't in vain.

  Repressed, Triggered and Recovered Memories

  first of all, let me say that many, if not most, of my memories of abuse and early childhood were recovered.

  some people feel that this diminishes my experience, or in some way denies what happened.

  i suffered from major depression and was quite suicidal for 2 years before something happened to trigger my memories.

  Maybe when things calm down a bit, we can get together for dinner. My wife and I live about 45 minutes from you....we're in Wrightstown, about 5 minutes from Great Adventure. I remember reading some of your other posts in which you were having a hard time...I'd glad you had a coming out of sorts. It feels better after that.

  If I've learned anything in my life, it's this: any creature that can push something the size of a melon out of a hole much, much smaller, deserves all the credit in the world.

  I love women, and I trust them as my friends. My wife and I are best friends. Also, I LoOOOOOOve strong women. Any woman who can kick my ass or beat me in chess is A-ok in my book.
