DATING OLDER MEN/WOMEN

My wonderful wife, Mary, is 7 years older than I. I have a hard time connecting with younger women intellectually. Must be a values thing, I guess.
I love my "old lady" and she taught me that it takes some living to get good at giving . . . and giving love is just where she could teach the younger ladies a thing or two.

Daughter Has Lump On Throat
by Corvin inlast week, my middle daughter, 15, found a large lump in her throat.
it was about the size of a quarter.
when she pointed it out, it was very visible.. the doctor said, after viewing the ultra-sound pics, that it was either a cyst with an unusual hardened mass inside or a carsanoma, [not sure of spelling] a cancer attached to her thyroid.

Once again, I would like to express my appreciation and hearfelt thanks to all of you who rallied around me and my precious Nancy.
Not one JW has phoned to ask about her.
I printed out selected responses and gave it to her to read. She was surprised and touched and thought how considerate all of you are. She meant it. I only added that she can be assured that there are some truly loving people in this world who are always ready to lend a hand.
Avishai, that was the coolest offer, that you would actually drive down to so cal to be here for someone you don't even know. What a brother you are.
I will do as all of you ask and keep you posted. I am confident it will all turn out ok and she will be just fine.

New to the Forum
by Candles of Light ini am new here and i have never been a jw, however by boyfriend has been one for most of his life.
he is now kicked out of the church.
i have to deal with his pain over the experiences he tells me about in regard to his association with this church and i don't know how to help him.

Why do you keep posting here?

then i thought to myself, why am i sitting here "wondering" what to post on a forum like this.
i think i get more than the fair share of stick here for posts i have made because of what i do post, and i can live with that.
