last week, my middle daughter, 15, found a large lump in her throat.
it was about the size of a quarter.
when she pointed it out, it was very visible.. the doctor said, after viewing the ultra-sound pics, that it was either a cyst with an unusual hardened mass inside or a carsanoma, [not sure of spelling] a cancer attached to her thyroid.
"As far as the blood issue...I sent Randy a document for use by non-jw non-custodial parents to counter the blood card. Just in case anyone needs it...thought I'd throw that in . . . "
Thank you alamb; I am the custodial parent.
Best Regards,

ok... as the title states... i usually see these threads as the author being really up themselves, but something just occured to me, and i would like an opinion.. those who have seen me in chat / pm'ed me / read enough of my posts have seen me joke around.
i flirt (with members of the opposite sex, and the same sex), play around, mock people, once in a while get depressed... etc etc.... but... in real life i am so different than all this.
i am a loving husband (very straight) and step father at 21 years of age.
FMZ, you are the futher muckin bomb!
I only know you to be kind, good natured and a pretty smart feller for 21.
I think you all those things you say, both how you are here and in real life. I think when you get to know someone you also become the JWD FMZ.
Keep being who you're being!
Best Regards,
Corvin

I had the same thing, cancerous, and it was removed. Email me if you have any questions. And, she shouldnt need any blood... it is a pretty simple operation.
Thank you animal. Glad you had a good outcome. I now have your email addy.

Make sure the elders don't get to her and switch her mind on autologous transfusions - it's still a nono in the BORG.
She knows this, buddy, and yet she has no problem, even at 15, being reasonable about this thing, even if it means it is a nono by the Society's standards. She says she doesn't care about that.
The elders better back the effoff or I'll be punching some fat arse in a cheap suit right in the nose.
Thanks to all for your support and comments.
