  Do Jehovah's Witnesses Have the Only True Religion

  whether you're a doubter or another agitator, just look at what the bible says: .

  1- jesus started one true christian religion.

  after the christian arrangement had been established for some time, the apostle paul under inspiration further showed at ephesians 4:4, 5 that there must be just one body, or group, of true worshipers of god.

  3- The most outstanding mark of true Christians according to John 13:34, 35 is that they have real love among themselves. They are not taught to think that they are better than people of other races or skin color. They aren't taught to hate people from other countries. So they do not share in wars.

  A few of the JW kids I grew up with were closet racists. According to former Bethelite, Leo Hair, and now an elder in Tijuana, BC, racism is alive and well in the organization. A member of the governing body told him not to marry his Bethelite fiance because she was black and it would cause problems. The poor man was so traumatized and hypersensative to the racism. I worked for a brother who was a general contractor and a couple of brothers who had recently moved from Ohio, and also formerly of Bethel were racist as well. Their code word for black people was "nog". Sad but true.

  i was never "in" the wts, but my husband's x-wife and children are jw.

  he never was...it's a long story, but between the "religion" and other stuff, she's managed to inflict so much damage and pain on him that at one point he was suicidal...so much for "christian love", ya know?.

  looking forward to talking more, if that's ok with everybody!.

  I avoid newspapers and search out eyes. I bumble my way on to hoarded subway seats. My plump bottom overspills it’s share of seat, as I breathe warm and fuzzy greetings in to my startled neighbour’s face. I politely inquire on their book or the weather, whatever might grudge a smile. “This snow keeps up we will get to ski home. Who needs to buy lift tickets? Just step out the door.” I boldly offer to shake a young man’s hand. “I bet you go to the same High School as my boy - down this block, is it? Is Mister Grady still the Gym Teacher?” Hiding behind a punk scrawl, I find the insecure boy yearning for a mother’s care. “I played flute in the school band, too,” I comment to the slim dark boy clutching his scuffed case. We share a secret smile no one else notices. I roam the transit with impunity, a forgettable motherly figure in a sea of humanity.

  I have encountered the midnight hiding in the soul of man. That chilling blackness kills, and it nearly swallowed me. I ran, ran, ran from that vicious hatred. Now I fight, fight, fight to take back the darkness.

  I mean to bring my small town home.
  One person at a time.
  I am a Militant Happyist, and I push back the night.

  If you wrote that, dear UNforgettable motherly figure, you missed your calling . . . and I want you as my new mommy.

  There's maybe a kind of cartoon frog face but it's fairly tenuous and I've no idea why anyone would put such a thing there deliberately.

  Umm . . . the red bordered area is prolly a good place to look . . . think "profiled face".

  Um, maybe it's me but I can't see anything of significance there. And I mean even less than the ones where there's a superficial resemblance to a face. I honestly don't see anything there that shouldn't be. What am I missing?
