  for anyone who is interested, there are candlelight peace vigils being held sunday night 3/16/03 around the world starting at 7:00 in all locations.

  these are intended to be peaceful, silent vigils.. we live in a country that values freedom, and this freedom, has to extend to both sides of the war issue.

  Correct.... in this "shitty economy", we have been pulling down 50-60 hours a week.... we work 6-7 days a week. I need more Harley money.

  Here in AZ, they had a "support the troops" rally, and one war protestor showed up with a sign, across the street. The press did a 5 minute segment with him and ignored the actual rally. Hell was to be paid after the fact, people got pretty pissed at the local station.

  OK, we all saw peace marches, but I never saw a war march.

  I was thinking: If 70% of people want peace for example, that means 30% wants war, so why aren't 30% of marches, war marches.

  Two reasons, as I see it....

  1. The press is anti-Bush

  2. Most of us have jobs, thus not able to march.

  i need some reassurance here !.

  i spoke to my aunt the other day who has been out of the borg for about 20 years now.

  she told me that she is really worried about world events and feels that this is it now, the un is going to crumble and then armageddon is going to come.

  When I was 16 .. in the midst of my running away thing... was home for a short while. I didnt have a license but likes to play around in the car. One day, I back it out of the garage, not knowing I scraped the car the whole way down one side on the old wood stove sitting there..... a big gash all the way back. When I saw it, I put the car back and didnt say shit.

  That night at dinner, my elder step dad is pissing and moaning to mom, bitching her out for being so GD stupid. She took it, assuming she did it. I just kept my mouth shut.

  Funny tho... a few months later, she totals the same car.... in a parking lot... backed into a cement post. He tells her how bad of a driver she is, and shoulda known from when she scratched the car in the garage.... hahahaha
