  Do You Live a 'Normal' Life?

  Do you? If you do, what do YOU consider 'normal'? Is unhappiness, guilt and a low-self-esteem normal?
  
  Let's share some positive experiences. For me, I seek to find the good out of negative experiences. I've been into competitive sports since childhood and still do professionally. I've combined my high-steel ironworker trade with being a professional tree surgeon. I have patents on three inventions and have gone to inventors conventions to display my works. I've written a book on golf titled, The ABC's of Golf. It has been my desire to never stop learning. We need to seek out our potential and self-worth. Never allow negative experiences to hold you back from exploring yourself, never!

  the door to door work is a sham.. the central activity of the watchtower bible and tract society is not spreading their so-called "messege" about the kingdom of jehovah established in the heavens in 1914. that's a load of propaganda.. the door to door activity is feckless in producing converts.

  in fact, it is an immense failure of mammoth proportions!.

  but, it is a diversion.

  Why be obedient to god?

  if a creator god is real and he is the source of life well then i would certainly acknowledge that and give him thanks for my existence and for the universe i live in.

  but obedience?.

  my mum and dad gave me life, ensured my education, looked after my health and wellbeing, loved me, taught me the value of kindness and friendships and so much more.

  i have been nervous about this for 6 months and now the time has come.

  my kids are coming by plane to see me on the 25 of dec to jan 3. they are good little jw's.

  i am no longer a follower of jw.. i havn't been with them for 2 years.

  due to funkyderek i have come to the decision to leave this board.

  when i posted on the current gay thread in a way that i thought would stimulate thinking and lighten up the seriosness of the thread and have a laugh, he and others put me down publically labelling me.

  so i find it difficult now to continue posting knowing that someone has influenced others into thinking that i'm not worthy of being here because my phrasing and spelling is bad and that i'm apparently a "hyporite".

  My Dad's funeral was yesterday

  last sunday, my dad passed away at age 76. he knew since last april that he had cancer.

  his funeral was yesterday afternoon.

  many friends and family members attended.

  Not one JW showed up at the funeral you say. Most witnesses to me are emotional misfits and HEARTLESS your experience is living proof.
