  ahh.. nicotine.

  since leaving the jdubs, i find i enjoy lighting up a pipe in the evening, or sometimes the occasional cigar.

  tried cigarettes but i don't care for them much, myself.

  i find it the least bit important, because the fact is he died. who gives a shit how he died. anything that resembles DEATH shouldn't take too kindly to be portrayed, or even up for debate unless bible scholars want to debate the translation of stauros...

  i always remember in the bible that god's preferred choice of transportation was a chariot.

  why would god have a chariot though, instead of a nice new porsche 911 or a ferarri or something like that?

  And the Apostles were all in one (Honda) Accord. you're wrong. they'll drive around in a classic Cadillac v16, yellow, and they'll have 2 of them. They'll be convertible, and now in the 21st century they'll cost well over a million dollars because they're such a rare car.

  funch, that was what i was getting at actually. nobody back then dreamed that we'd have cars, guns, airplanes and everything else that we do. they had swords and shields, thus thats how they portrayed "holy" figures. but HOW do they know what they were going to wear, and what they were going to cruise down in?

  anyone read the march 1, 2004 "watchtower", it had this to say on page 14:

  Nosferatu, Russel actually got TONS of his teachings from a man named Willy Miller. Predictions of the end of the world started in about the 1820's by this fool. he was a second day adventist, and a really dumb shit at that. He created the Millerites (much like the JW's of today), which Barbour was a part of. So Russell doesn't have very many unique teachings because there was always someone trying to twist damniel chapter 4. search for William Miller on google and see what you come up with, its interesting.
