cruising down the motorway at 160mph on a motorbike, on realising that cars were pulling into my lane up ahead i had to slow down by 90mph to avoid death. what a rush.

Praise Jah - Designer of Killer Sperm
by PopeOfEruke ini was reading about a recent scientific discovery in a new book about human sexuality.
it has long been in evidence that married women who are having an affair often fail to get pregnant.
as soon as one of the sexual partners leaves the relationship pregnancy often occurs quickly thereafter.. scientists may have discovered a mechanism for this.

after two weeks without food, man is so physically drained that he is incapable of having sex... what is the first thing man does... he eats food... why? of course for the sole purpose of being able to have sex!

Sleepless Nights..
by Sassy indon't you just hate them.
i seem to have a horrible habit lately of waking up at some ungodly hour (i can say that now right?)..
and then i can't fall back asleep.. i'm amazed how well i actually function the next day sometimes..

story of my life sassy, as a kid i used to wake up around 3am every day, kill 6 hours before school and then have a run though to 10pm when we got home from meetings or after family study, used to say i would fall asleep standing up i was so exhausted by the time the sun went down, basically my body's clock was never in time with regular hours.
so far i still haven't got any remedy for it, as a kid playing with lego killed the time in the early hours, as an adult it was other creative stuff, if i'm not alone then it's easier, but sleep issues can annoy the hell out of parners, especially those who think bed's are for sleeping in. i still struggle to sleep past 6am most days and on a whole am pretty hyper in the mornings, there's no phase of waking up, it's like i just snap from asleep to awake, then i cannot sleep at all, and usually i can get more done between 6-11am than the whole rest of the day, and come 6pm i am starting to feel tired, by 10 i am shattered, and if i don't sleep before 12, i won't sleep at all that night and will pass out sometime the next evening.
sleep is funny, your body shuts down when it needs to, and if your mind lets it, it's a careful balance, i think if you wake up when you think you should be sleeping, it's best to try to use the extra energy for something positive or creative, or something you wouldn't normally do in day to day life, it helps, because there's nothing worse than wasting away staring at the wall.
hope this post wasn't too boring!

As a kid, what did you used to say on the doors.
by dh ini guess this questions is for people who grew up as jw's... .
when you were out door knocking as kids, did the people who's doors you knocked on ever tell your parents that they shouldn't bring you out door knocking in the freezing cold, or did they ever ask you why you were out door knocking when you're so young?.
i remember both questions coming up fairly often since in england it is always winter, never forget the way this one old guy bent down and asked me why i was there and i gave the answer 'i'm here because i want to be' which was a total bold faced lie, but it was what we taught to say.. anyone else experience this?

Jury duty???
by Strawberryfieldsforever ini was just wondering if jury duty was considered taking part in the world.
i just found out that my mom had jury duty a few months ago and went!
i've never been a registered voter and thought you had to register to be called to jury duty.

.40 homey
my dad was called to do jury duty when i was a kid, he felt he had to refuse for whatever reason, but thanks to jehovah, a few days later he fell and broke his leg ice skating and got out of it on medical grounds.
But if your father broke his leg going to a circuit assembly part or to a Sunday meeting that he had a public talk then Satan did it, huh?
about it being thanks to hov, i was being sarcastic!
