  is the heading of the article in the religious section of our newspaper yesterday.

  moscow (ap) a moscow court has banned the religious activities of jehovah's witnesses from the russian capital in a move that critics called a step back for democracy and religious freedom.

  i mentioned, in a recent thread, that one booklet in particular helped me shed some misconceptions about the wts.

  it was regarding whether or not they were just misguided, or intentionally deceptive.. the booklet "exposing 'should you believe the trinity'" was what did it for me, solely on the basis of scholastic integrity (not the trinity doctrine, which has been "done to death" on many other threads).. .

  the following site makes similar points, and references said booklet:.

  Hello Leolaia,

  I was just curious, and if you dont mind telling. Did those booger heads at the KH ever disfellowship you or did they just run away with their tail between their legs? As for me I am hoping to fade away but I think they got my number so it may not work.

  Does the UN have the NGO directory on the internet?

  i know the wts isnt an ngo anymore but did the un pull the whole list down?

  anyone have a link to it?

  Thank you Valis! I think that is what I was looking for. I thought back when the WTS was associated they had a list of about 1500 church organizations ( non profit orgs, NGOs ) though. Maybe they no longer list them that way. I remember the WTS was listed along with them.

  i don't really know much about the trinity other than what i was told as a jw but it does seem to me that the holy ghost is definitely running a distant third in the popularity contest.

  when jws get into arguments with trinitarians, it's almost always about whether jesus is god, isn't it?

  ok, so i'm trying to just plant a tiny seed of doubt somewhere in the cracks of my mothers mind, but that woman has 'jehovah' tattooed on her chest!

  anyway, i would not only like help for her benefit but also for my benefit.
