Do you yearn to know what we are, and why we are here, before you die?
by sabastious inlets face it, we don't know what humans are.
science is doing a good job at uncovering many facts about us, but even science cannot explain consciousness yet.
conciousness is still a strong mystery to us.

This book, more than any other has assisted in answering those same said questions. It's not an easy sell as they have a scent of dogmatism like witnesses have, however, they come from a completly different vantage point and if any one ever gave this free publication a once over, you might be surprised to hear their views. I took it for nonsensense initially, then I really began to read it with an open mind.I didn't agree with a lot of what HW Armstrong had to say, but the more I read it, the more it made sense. Raymond Franz's book comes in as photo finish tie as to it's ability to help me see more clearly beyond the truth.

The music alone should have given me warning that something was not right with this form of worship. Conditioned not to appreciate gospel music, now that I'm out almost 20 years, gospel sounds so much more authentic as to worship than do any kingdom melodies. You just can't see what you don't hear till you been outside for a while.

ever since we left the borg almost 2 years ago (wow, time flies when you're finally having fun!
), we've paid more attention to politics.

We have a scriptural principle that gives reason as to why people are coming into this country as they do. I've had the opportunity to work with foreigners who do the jobs Americans refuse to do. I see why they have the ability to get above and beyond the average American. They have a work ethic and a passion for the things we in the U.S. take for granted. They will work, oftentimes, two or three Penny Annie Jobs, just to make up for one good one. They recognise the value of dilligent hard work, and they put thier back into it. Look at how the foreigners come to this country and open up stores, businesses and thrive on the American dollar. These are the ones who will be assuming the role of power in the near future. Politically, financially and otherwise.
If you read the entire chapter of Deuteronomy 28, you'll see all the blessings God promised for those who would walk in obedience, as well the consequences one would be in line for if they chose to go their own way. God's rules and regulations will not go ignored, indefinitely. You may not pay today, but somewhere down the road, we all will have to answer to the highest authority in the universe.

"The last greatest hope for mankind" was how Ronald Reagen defined America. We were once the greatest country on earth, but or day in the sun is over. Nations come and nations go. America is on its' way out from once being the most powerful country on the planet to a world that has lost it's sense of greatness. Our ideals, charachter and culture have been eroding from within. We no longer believe the Bible has any relevance to our lives, our society is sickly saturated with sex at virtually every turn of the head. Materialism. Buy...Buy...Buy!!! The me first philosophy that has garnered all manner of societal ills. Prostitution. pornography, illicit drug use, abortion on demand, divorce and the list goes on and on.
We once were a shining city upon a hill, but that light was diffused, as well. America has had the world brought to her feet, only to realise she needs to be brought to her knees and seek God's forgivness for the destructive energy we've unleashed upon the planet. We have our hands in the world affairs of others who we should leave alone. Three wars to attend to and its not going to get any better.
We are on our way out as leaders of the free world, as we are so caught up in debt, that we will never see our way out of it. China, Russia and other European countries have seen the disasterous effect of how we live and are taking notes, while stepping farther and farther away. Holding their nose as they find the means necessary to bolster their own economies. Mililtarilly speaking, China, Russia, North Korea are making great strides in shuring up their armed forces. We have lots of firepower, but no real will to use it. We are no longer a fighting nation, but have ciollectively become a passive and tollerant society.
The babyboomer generation has left a massive amount of problem for the next three generations to attempt to solve. Problem is, however, if Christ was not going to return, it would take another 100 years or more for America to regain her balance as a worthwhile society. We don't have 100 years left to get this thing together. Christ has to return. The world, truly can not go on much longer without divne intervention. America and the world has reached a tipping point. We have reached the place of no return.
