  i have stopped fiddling with it... for now.

  hubby says i drive him nuts because i keep moving all the ornaments around.

  two pictures - the first has all the house lights on and uses the flash .

  Did I get the wrong Christmas Ornaments?

  i have a small tree so i got a package of small ornaments that are about 2 inches in diameter.

  when i bought them i did not notice that the tops do not have hooks like i expected, instead they have very small loops.

  these loops are too small to slide on to the branches of the tree, so am i supposed to use little twist-ties or something?

  what do you REALLY want for christmas?

  if you could have anyone thing for christmas, what would it be.

  it can be, an actual object, or sumthing you'd really like to happen.

  all I really want are things you can't put dollar signs on..

  a new apartment (trying to get through some red tape to move)

  and my children back in my life that I lost when I stayed being a JW when my ex and I split up..

  Secret Santa II......

  i've just read in another thread that due to circumstances the secret santa for this year hasn't been able to happen, so i want to try and organise another one!.

  according to the lady at the post office, the closing date for international mail to be delivered before xmas is this week, but for post on the same continent we still have a few weeks so i'll try and take that into account so everyone can have their prezzy before christmas day.

  if everyone who wants to join in can pm or email me at [email protected] with their details before 12noon sunday 30th november(uk time), i'll try and get the details back to you by sunday night.

  Well I got my present today from cruzanheart !! Nina, at first I thought maybe you accidentally shipped two of the things I ordered when you had the 'raise some money for JWD" deal.. so I didn't even unwrap the outer covering. I was going to pm you and make sure everything was cool..........Then I thought, wait, I don't know who my secret santa is..... hmmmm.. and the box is a different size..so I took off the outer paper..

  and low and behold was a box in Christmas wrapping!!

  so I put it under my tree.. where there was only one present.. One I have waiting for my boyfriend (who doesn't celebrate Christmas because he doesn't believe in Jesus.. so I have a WINTER present for him there).. so this is my very first ever Christmas present after I have my very first Christmas tree..

  how special.. from a very special person!! I will wait till Xmas eve to open it..

  that is when my dad's family opened presents....

  not taut, very loosely, as if it feels like a necklace.

  I must admit many of the threads which begin with a long description, I pass over but I was drawn to this one and couldn't stop reading it until I had read through your entire into. What a story and how much most of us will be able to relate to it is incredible.

  There are so many things that can happen in a person's life that changes us, that scars us, a death, a rape, a kidnapping... Do we ever really get over it? I hope that somehow we can all get past the drama that being a JW has brought to our lives.

  I wish I could say I've been out 20 years. I just turned 45 years old and have been in it all my life (all except most of this past year)... I know a part of me will be forever scarred.. but I wish that I had more years of my life to not have been bound.

  I think the sign of an excellent movie, is one you need to watch several times to catch all of it. The LOTR movies are best watched more than once!

  for personal reasons I edited out my hints .. but sent them to gadget to pass on privately
