35Coincidence - I think Not - Be Afraid
by pettygrudger inso, for the last 2 months, i have no access to my im's or my e-mails, without going directly to the server.
tonight, amazingly enough, all my im's & e-mails seem to work - for the first time in 2+ months.. i im a friend - and my name doesn't appear as my own - it appears as someone else [b]who posts on only on jwo that i know of[/b] and seems to have some serious issues with other people.. so, to the person who was using my computer - hope you got what you needed, cuz after i dump all this & reload - you won't get in again.. as far as the rest of you are concerned, be afraid - there are some screwed up people here that are playing some serious games.. to the one who did this - my computer is going directly to a "pro" - and if i find out who you were - lord have mercy on your soul.
you directly messed w/me and my family - and you will pay - i promise you that.

Got outta hospital today
by Brummie injust wanted to say thanks for the pms, i'll spend more time online in the near future.
i went into hospital early tuesday morning, had surgery wednesday and had to have a flamin pipe stook up through my gum travelling into the back of my nose.
not nice lol, they had sewn it into my gum but they took it and the stitches out this morning so it was only 2 days, the other stitches will disolve.

azaria, I hope this will not be your last post. When you are new (and sometimes when you are not) a thread can sometimes get very little response. It is just timing for one thing. I did just now go back to look at your post. I don't remember reading it before but my guess is that because it was so long in text with a small font I figured I'd come back and read it later. (at work I jump in and out of easy threads but can't take a lot of time to really sit and read a lot so I'll save it till i have time) then a post can get burried by accident and forgotten. Usually a serious thread I will save to read later any way. Its easy to reply to a silly thread. A more serious thread I want to contemplate more.
When I started here I (and not that long ago.. I have only been here a short while), I started a thread called Its Beginning. It was about things I was dealing with revealing for the first time about my leaving the WTS. It even included I think a note about a friend suggesting I commit suicide.. be dead.. It was a serious and heart felt thread reaching out because I was losing the only world I knew and all my friends as well as family. I received 18 replies. only 7 more than your thread (and some of those replies were from me thanking those who replied.. so since you never replied to anyone who said anything to you, we probably had about the same amount of replies). Close to the same time I put up a thread on "messengers" so hopefully someone might want to chat and maybe even help me as I deal with the exit issues.. Only 4 replies were on that thread... so you see, we all end up with threads like that.. But it doesn't mean we aren't wanted.. well.. at least I am pretty sure I am wanted..
and there for so are you.. Please don't give up on JWD friends yet..

Infidelity amongst JWs
by YellowLab indoes there seem to be a higher incidence of infidelity amongst the jws?.
my brother, who is an active jw and ministerial servant, has an elder friend who was recently disfellowshipped for having an affair with another sister in the hall.
it turns out this sister was divorced a few years earlier from a "worldly" man who had an affair on her.

I personally only posted about my experience because stillajwexelder had mentioned how this was a painful subject and I knew how he felt.. so I brought up my hurt. the only reason why I pointed out he was an elders son was because the topic is on infidelity of JWs and a son of an elder should have been raised with "a moral direction" since they are "SUPPOSED" to be setting a good example. Other wise they lose their positions in the congregation if they do not take the lead in taking care of and training their family properly.
So what? Do you expect that people are 100 % pure and clean just because they happen to be children of elders?
I don't think anyone is pure including myself -

Secret Santa II......
by Gadget ini've just read in another thread that due to circumstances the secret santa for this year hasn't been able to happen, so i want to try and organise another one!.
according to the lady at the post office, the closing date for international mail to be delivered before xmas is this week, but for post on the same continent we still have a few weeks so i'll try and take that into account so everyone can have their prezzy before christmas day.

My next steps are to educate myself more so than when someone does ask I can give them facts why the WTS is not the true way. I know in my heart they are not by many things, but they are not enough to use to win an argument with anyone who doesn't have any doubts. I guess the thing is, before I was ready, I wouldn't have listened any way. Niether will those I love. Instead I would push them away if I tried to get them out. What I need to do is be patient and learn. Then when the opportunity presents itself where they want to know, I want to be ready to give THEM A WITNESS... so.. I am only in training mode now..

I just am a night owl a lot.. and if I go to bed before 11:00 I tend to wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep. No idea why..
As far as dreams.. last night I had a nightmare about the elders forcing me to remarry the man I am divorcing (and the original reason why I left off being a JW). It upset me this morning to wake up and have the two areas invading my thoughts when I can't control them.. the elders and their control.. and the man I detest.. I am pretty sure it is because I talked to my manager yesterday and she told me the man still calls here checking to see if I am here.. I feel harassed by him. Can't wait to move and have neither the elders or the a#$ er I mean jerk know where I am.
