However, the person who disassociates himself by repudiating the faith and deliberately abandoning Jehovah's worship is viewed in the same way as one who is disfellowshipped.
It sounds like they could make a case if they wanted to based on this statement. You no longer worship with us therefore you have abandoned and repudiated the faith. This might be used as a tool to weed out troublemakers who otherwise have done nothing to be DA'ed for.
I am sure time will tell if they want to go down the hard line road. Nothing along this line would suprise me.
Take note of point #2 You can repudiate by word or actions (inaction)
Main Entry: re·pu·di·ate
Pronunciation: ri-'pyü-dE-"At
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): -at·ed; -at·ing
Etymology: Latin repudiatus, past participle of repudiare, from repudium rejection of a prospective spouse, divorce, probably from re- + pudEre to shame
1 : to divorce or separate formally from (a woman)
2 : to refuse to have anything to do with : DISOWN
3 a : to refuse to accept; especially : to reject as unauthorized or as having no binding force b : to reject as untrue or unjust <repudiate a charge>
4 : to refuse to acknowledge or pay
synonym see DECLINE

And since we are just observing the memorial, why is it absolutely necessary that EVERYONE actually touches and passes the plate and glass. Why don't they just invite any anointed to come sit on stage and partake and we can all watch.
That sounds like a great idea. The purpose for most to be at memorial is to OBSERVE not partake. How do we know who is partaking unless we are sitting next to someone as they swill the wine. Instead have them sit at a table and pour each one a glass of wine and a big hunk of bread. They would also be able to screen out those deemed unworthy of partaking that way. It would save a little time that they could use on their little infomercial at the end.
I also chuckled at the"special announcement" at the end...A hush fell over the crowd. All attention was on the speaker. What could it be??
Ten seconds later as the direction of the announcement became clear most went back to their semi comotose state. They had been fooled once again by the WTBTS (BS)

WTBTS Memorial Date In Error
by El Shadi init is apparent that the watchtower society has decided to follow babylon the great in its celebration of jesus death and resurrection by following the "ecclesiastical full moon" rather than the "astonomical full moon".
the date of easter
prior to a.d. 325, easter was variously celebrated on different days of the week, including friday, saturday, and sunday.

Anyone else go last night?
I went last night for my wife. It was the longest 45 minutes I ever spent. Found myself twitching and looking at my watch a lot. What I took note of was the speed that the bread and wine were passed around. It looked more like a race to see how quick they could get it done rather than a solemn event. The mini commercial at the end was nice also. They had to mention every meeting and the times. He also had a "special announcement" to thank those new ones that came and urged them to approach an attendant after the meeing to sign up for a "free" homebiblebook study. I guess this is the one time in the year when they can try to increase their market share with a captive audience. -

Thinking back
by purplesofa inmy bookstudy was at an elders house that lived a bit out of the city.
a small road with only his house and another.
the other house was the first you passed.....unsightly....trashed cars.......broken down bicycles............not trashy, but not like the bit of paradise at the elder house.. i remember the elder telling us how the man had become ill and lost his job working for the waterworks department, a city job, with little wages.

We helped get someone over there to look after the kids and I remember thinking that was most productive thing I had ever been a part of in field service.
You mean to tell me you counted time for helping someone while out in field service. That is BAD.
The reason you are out in field service is to get people to sign up with the cult. You should have deducted this time as well as the Tim Horton stop you made that morning right afterward. God is watching you...It is not too late to make amends.Send a statement of the facts to the WT and I am sure they will amend their records.....
