Looks like you had a nice day trip. The prints of some of those critters look HUGE. When I saw the header I thought maybe you had made it up to the OTHER Valley of Dinosaurs that is located in Drumheller Alberta. It has a huge collection of dinosaur skeletons and makes for a fascinating tour also.

Looks like a nice wildlife park too.It's good to see the animals being able to roam a little and not be penned up.

in the accounts for the ibsa for 2002 the trustees report states :our projections to august 31, 2003, indicate the need to curtail some spending, because of the property developments in london.

I don't know what the spending is all about but I am sure the prospective donations are from dubs in their wills.They have probably done the demographics well and can see a big upswing from the ageing "true believer class"? in the next few years.

we talked about fun things we'd been doing lately and then they told me the reason they stopped by was to invite me to the memorial.

i was completely silent and non-committal.

I think they consider the 1914 "arrival" to be the beginning of his "presence"

I'm sure that's what they believe too but it has no real basis in their interpetation of the bible. If you look at the babylon the great book(1963?) and the revelation book of 1988 almost ALL of revelation has been fufilled. A lot of this happened in the 1920's when the other flake (rutherford) was in charge of the cult. If you tried to get a real explaination of why jesus was to come in two parts separated by almost 100 years they certainly would not be able to show you based on the bible.

This could be a great question to ask if anyone here gets a memorial invitation.

Yes, I believe that the apostates, for the most part, have a higher degree of intelligence, comprehension, and understanding than any 10 JW's combined. I don't think it has as much to do with IQ as it does with the simple fact that we are now able to use our brains. Well, most of us anyway. Gumby I'm not too sure about. Do Eraser's have brains?

This may not be big news on the world scene, but it affects us deeply here in Canada.

I don't live in Alberta but where I am the flag is flying at half staff and a memorial of flowers and cards has collected at the base.

This scene I am sure is the same across Canada and many of us feel this on a personal level. I watched the tribute to the fallen officers on TV as thousands of their fellow officers marched to the memorial service for their fallen comrades.I hope to never have to see such a tribute again..

i went down to the local 7/11 a few miles from my house to by some 7/11 stuff.

as i was standing at the counter i glanced out at my car to see a little cheerleader wannabe girl leaning against it.

she was drinking a slushy type drink talking to her bubble gum little chicky buddies in her mom's new lincoln navigator next to my car.

I reached for my remote control key/ door unlocker, which just happens to have a little red panic alarm/sciren button on the reverse side of the door lock button and pressed it twice. Needless to say the teenaged little girl jumped so high she would have qualified for the NBA slam dunk contest.

LMAO...I bet it is a long time before she leans on another car.
