  Nipple Question

  i see at least two males here (according to their avatars) have nipple piercings.

  the only question that comes to mind is.....why?

  is it something that you have done to impress women?

  I don't find nipple piercings attractive on men or women. To me they are a turn off and seeing them makes me get sympathy pains. Nipples are beautiful the way the are. Well, most of them are anyway. As for doing it for pleasure, well they work very well in their natural state. They seem to be perfectly designed for nursing babies and for grown up pleasure. To each his own and live and let live; but hey, the other parts work very well in their natural state as well. I think if they worked any better it might just.... well, I won't go there. Nature has done a splendid job at least for me. I'm happy the way I am and I like men with good old natural stuff, too.

  PS: Stacy, I had been wondering what would happen if women posted avitars with their nipples, bejeweled or not here on JWD. I kinda think they'd be edited out.

  We love America and Americans ... it's just some of the presidents and foreign policy we aren't too hot about.

  My ex JW friend Leonie, from Australia says that Aussies think President Bush is retarded. The thing is: a lot Americans think the same thing. We don't blame you at all. Besides, it's hard to take a man whose father bought him a major league baseball team, The Texas Rangers seriously. And how is it he won this election anyway? Makes some of wonder if his father bought him the presidency, too. Probably not, but the doubt is there and it makes it hard to take the guy seriously.

  Live and let live. If people are going to come out they are going to come out. I am thinking that if they are disobedient enough to the society by being here in the first place, one day they will wake up and come on out.

  Humor causes laughter and laughter is a good medicene.

  Would an immigration official ask me in all seriousness if I were here to commit an act of terrorism, yes or no?

  Honestly, don't you know this question is designed to intimidate the true terroist and make them think about their mission while enjoying our lovely country? They know that a terrorist is not going to tell the truth. It's basically to make them self conscious and to think. Maybe it will make them fidget and they will give themselves away? Remember the guy with the bomb in his shoe that the flight attendant wrestled? Maybe the question would make a similar person change his/her mind. I hope so anyway.

  The question about your luggage is something like: did you leave your luggage unattended at any point? Has anyone asked you to carry a package for them that you don't know? If you see an unattended package or luggage you are supposed to notify aiport security. The point is that if you aren't vigliant you could become an unwitting carrier of a bomb or weapon.

  The questions really aren't as silly as they sound when you think about what they are designed to do.

  in spain the age of consent is 13. .

  the argument i have heard put forward is that a legal age of consent has little effect on younger people.

  FlyingHigh... perhaps it's because of the inexperience of young teenage boys? Just a theory.

  Euphemism, that could be a factor at times. Also, girls are taught a double standard from the time they can understand: men are allowed to enjoy sex and are mostly well thought of in this regard. Girls are given the message that women are sluts if they enjoy sex. Guilt has a lot to do with it. Experience on the part of the man doesn't easily overcome the guilt obstacle. Once the guilt is overcome it's a different matter.

  Who wants the age of consent lowered to 13 anyway? There was a time when you were a minor until you were 21 in the USA. I don't think children or teens are as cherished and protected in general as they once were.

  Interesting to hear how Brits like it here, especially a southern state, Florida. I knew some JWs from Jersey who used to fly over, rent an RV (caravan) and drive through several states. They would attend the meetings along the way. We met them at the theocratic school/service meeting.You should try RVing here sometime. My dad's wife is from Great Yarmouth. She likes the material abundance here; but she thinks Americans are too candid and open. She considers this to be bad manners.

  That's a roundabout? No wonder they don't let you people carry handguns.

  Stacy, you make me laugh (in a good way) more than anyone on JWD or in person. Grits? You probably didn't have good ones. They do vary. I am southern born (Mobile, the Alabama part of Fla.) and raised. We always ate grits with butter or margerine and salt added. But then that's how we ate Cream Of Wheat, too. When I eat them at Cracker Barrel, I add sawmill gravy to them.

  To be fair, I haven't read the threads you mentioned as examples of sensationalism.

  Perhaps I'm just being overly serious. Perhaps. But, here's something to think about: the more sensational and "angry" the topic, the more we appear to be what the Society has depicted us as.

  The society constantly worried us with concern over what we would appear like to the world. We had to watch every word, every step and couldn't even drive dirty cars or neglect our lawns because we might make a bad impression on the world. Are you allowing this old JW thinking to creep into your thoughts and concerns a bit?

  Just a thought.

  Simon, you are so right. Many of us are still sitting here with our heads spinning as we look at the tragedies the WTBTS has caused in our lives. If I allowed myself to, I could become very, very bitter.

  I know four people who are mentally ill who were dfd. Yes, these "qualified elders" thought cutting off mentally ill people and having their family and friends shun them would be the way to deal with their "conduct unbecoming of a christian". I can't imagine a psychiatrist doing something like that to a patient.

  april wine is playing this friday, and i really wanted to go.

  my truck broke down, plus i'm working at my part-time job this friday night.. today, my fiance visited me during lunchhour and brought a surprise for me: 2 tickets to april wine.

  she put herself in a bit of a financial goof to get these tickets.
