  Has anyone heard of someone, anyone, EVER, that has been DF'd for accepting blood?

  Why not just take the blood, willingly... Get DF'd at the worst. You're still alive.

  People get DF'd for smoking, having sex or watching porn, but saving your own life is not worth it?

  in the early 1990s, i was in a meeting.

  we were making some major changes to the main it system of the company i worked for.

  during the meeting i said, 'what would happen if one of our major customers went belly up and shouldn't we build something into the system to cope with this?'.

  So, my sick at home wife was listening in to the meeting last night.

  I heard an insane comment ( more than the others ) by one of the elders.

  He says:

  "Jehovah is the god of war. The god of Armageddon".

  Designed to maintain urgency, anxiety and fear. Thanks, Watchtower!!

  i think it means watchtower corporation's assets, posessions and rules..

  I'll say that "kingdom interests" are the individual JW members.
  The top priority is to increase membership and retain their cash.

  Both of which the GB's strategists are struggling with.

  if you had to pinpoint the time or experience that finally made you open your eyes, what would it be?.

  i think for me it was the time i saw my dad shun his brother who he had not seen in decades just because he was a da'ed jw.

  i thought to my self "no way jesus would do that.

  I began to see that many local elders and JWs were breaking the law regularly, it was common knowledge.

  I tried to "deal with this" by speaking to the elders and two different COs.

  Nothing happened except more law breaking. I confronted an elder about the issue while we were out in service. He told me, "as a body of elders" they had decided to "ignore the situation". His words.
  I was furious. It took every bit of my self control to stay out in service that day. I was SO ready to go home. I was very angry. JW elders hide illegals in the congregations.

  I resigned as a MS very shortly after that and then did an accelerated fade.

  Then I found the "apostate web sites". Game Over.

  jehovah`s witnesses make a big deal about the 2 or 3 witnesses in judicial decisions yet they ignore that evidence when it suits them.. firstly :.

  regarding the length of a generation matthew ch.1:17 gives a strong clue ,their are 3 lots of 14 generations mentioned which equal 42 generations from the time of abraham to jesus .. watchtower publications give abrahams birth as 2018 bc......they also give jesus birth as of 2 bc a period of 2016 years .

  Bible Chronology, Egyptology and the Great Flood

  fact: bible chronology says the flood occurred between 2348 and 2370 bce, depending on which scholar you listen to.

  fact: the great pyramid of giza was constructed 200 years before, in c. 2560 bce..

  so, if you believe in a literal interpretation of noah's flood, you believe that the egyptians built a great civilization, were destroyed by the flood in 2370 bce, and then somehow, they reappeared immediately after the flood, picked right back up where they left off without skipping a cultural beat.. oh, and isn't it ironic that legitimately studying the great pyramid of giza debunks jw mythology now?

  I really enjoy learning about ancient civilizations.

  It saddens me that most of the JWs I've known don't take an interest in much of anything ( except hiding their double life )...
